Clan Ops for 12/8-12/9

They sure don't like to give notice, and the times are terrible. On top of that, the Elite calling cards are not working either. Same as last year, lots of complaints in the community about Elite with IW Trearch saying they are working on it. I guess at least it was free this time.

Anyhow, two ops were just posted. I checked when I got home from work today at 5 and there was nothing, now at 9 these 2 show up:

Core Kill Confirmed (Highest Total Confirms) - Saturday 11am-2pm EST https://elite.callofduty.com/compete/clan/events/view/2873
Core Team Deathmatch (Highest Total Kills) - Sunday 5pm-8pm EST https://elite.callofduty.com/compete/clan/events/view/2877

You might want to keep an eye on elite to see if the times change or I have them wrong.

We pulled a bronze in Saturdays event, and as long as we get a Bronze today we will rank up again.

I still have not seen the player card awarded for hitting level 5.. Time to troll the Activision forums again...

Would be nice if they had some of these at night instead of in the early morning and evening.

Also, I did see where it is only the top 6 player scores that count towards the final tally, which kind of sucks.

SCORING

Clan Operation rankings are created by combining the top six scores of each clan's participating members. Members who have recently joined clans will be able to contribute to Clan Operations that were enlisted in after they became clan members.

Correct- it has always been that way. The clan challenges take eveyones score, not only the top six like the clan ops do. It's there to make it more fair to those with 6 members vs. those with 60. Then again, yesterday it was only me and Kenny that contributed, so even the limit of 6 isn't helping us.

Where ate you seeing these clan ops and challenges, I couldn't find them yesterday and the compete tab says coming soon, now I was using the Xbox app

I've posted the links here, but have been using the elite web site. It doen't always seem to work, and you have to check back every now and then for it to load properly. In other words, the site is still junk/fail.

Yea, I noticed them and will sign up for them on Friday. I don't want to do it too early, or if anyone joins the clan after I have sign up they can not participate.

The times are most likely PST/Pacific Time (I'll have to check when I get home), so that would be Saturday Afternoon at 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time (1-4 CST), and Sunday Evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern time (5-8 CST).

Once I sign up for them I will create a new thread for the latest ops and hopefully challenges. The nice thing about challenges is that they run in a 24 hour time period.
