Microsoft Offers Rewards for Xbox Achievements


Microsoft has introduced MyAchievements, a new program that will offer rewards based on your Gamerscore. MyAchievements is available to Xbox Live Gold members and is broken down into three levels based upon the amount of achievements you’ve unlocked:

Contender: 3,000-9,000G
Champion: 10,000-24,999G
Legend: 25,000+G

Each tier will offer a “special gift” during your birthday month, and Champions will also receive a 1% rebate on Xbox Live Marketplace purchases every month. Legends will receive a 2% rebate.

MyAchievements marks the continuation of Microsoft’s Xbox Live Rewards, which offers Microsoft Points in exchange for taking surveys and launched in 2010. You can sign up for MyAchievements right now on Microsoft’s official site by clicking here to join.

agreed the number is a little low

A 2% rebate isn't very worthwhile considering how many hours people with high (legit) gamerscores have put into their games. I was hoping for a little better reward than that, but I can't really complain, its better than nothing.

I'm only at about 18k. Before I started playing with the clan I pretty much just played Tiger, Madden, and NCAA and then after that I just played COD games with the clan so I didn't play enough games that I could 'chevo hunt. It's something for me to work on and sounds pretty cool.

no worries...

about 20 K worth of achievements for most of us were gained during the first two years of 360 when Developers did a sh1tty job of spreading out points.
Alot of us can attribute our high Gamerscore thanks to such classics like King Kong, NBA2k, COD2, Madden, etc
