D3 public test server

any one else trying this out its kind of cool i can do monster lvl2 solo and up to lvl 5 with a good group . tryed lvl 10 on act 1 and took 6 mins to kill a zombie that had 16mil hp
the PTS lets you test out the up coming patch 1.0.5 and lets you set monster dif to higher lvls if you want



How to Participate:
To participate in the public test, you must have a Diablo III game license attached your Battle.net account that’s in good standing (i.e. it hasn’t been suspended or banned). While the 1.0.5 PTR is only available in English, French, German, and Korean languages, accounts from all regions are eligible to participate.

Step 1: Create a PTR account by logging in to your Battle.net Account Management page. Select your Diablo III game license, and then click "Create a PTR account."
Step 2: Download the client from the Diablo III landing page, or from your Games Download page in Account Management.
Step 3: To play on the PTR, simply launch the PTR client and log in normally. You will be connected to the PTR server automatically.

I noticed it but didn't think it would be that great, as my luck would be to find some elite Legendary item, just to loose it later on when the real patch rolls out. Not worth the risk to me. BTW- did the nerf kill the WW Barbs?

weirdly i seem to do alot better on normal inferno with WW now so the nurf/buff seemed to work out fine i did notice my wizard does alot better solo now

Cool. I'll have to look at your profile again and see what skills you run compared to mine.

Did you meet any of the super elites, or whatever they are called?

to get to the ubber boss's
there are keys u have to find

much like the ubber boss's of D2 to open the tp to Uber Tristram
were it was like find

-Mephisto's Brain

but if you want to fight stupid hard elite packs monster power lvl10 is stupid hard act 1 starting zombie alone was 16mil HP
the plus side the higher the moster power lvl the more MF and gold find you get starting with not stacks on lvl10 give you 300MF and is allowed to go past the 300mf cap
also lvl 10 first time ever seeing 10k gold drop

all and all once i played i found out lvl 2 is not that bad and switching back to normal inferno seems like a joke now

So are you running your Barb with the Enchantress and not the Scoundrel? With the Scoundrel you get 3% more Crit chance. I was also using the Enchantress for the attack speed and armor buffs, but the Scoundrel seems to work better with the WW style barb.
