D3 Patch 1.0.4

Looks like the patch is rolling out today! Big changes to the game, and I'm looking forward to it. The problem is CS:GO also comes out today, so I don't know how I'm going to split my time. It is safe to say I will be getting no sleep the rest of the week.

Think I'll just wait until they implement some form of pvp. Right now, leveling up seems like more of a chore than anything with no real reward. It was a fun game playing from Normal to Hell, but once I got to Inferno it was more like 'I just did this yesterday...'.

I think there needs to be more gametypes or something. PvP of course, but maybe have something like fighting all of the Evil Lords at once or some sort of horde mode, idk. I just wish there was more variety for a game with such a short story.

i looked /watch the patch note seems cool but i think im with expert on this one PVP is what really will pull me back into this game

Did you guys play PvP In D2? I don't ever remember anyone doing much of that but the grief'ers, so I wonder why it is such a hot topic with the D3 community (I see it on all the forums).

I still don't have all my chars to level 60, so I'm working on the Monk currently. And now I have to get my Barb to 160

when PVP comes out they will fix alot of the drops and buff /nerf armor and so on to make it better for PVP

so in my mind PVP = hotfixes to alot of the problems we are having now

Just something for people to complain about. Honestly I wish they had just left it in. I'd rather have broken, imbalanced, optional PVP than none at all.
That being said most the PVP I saw in D2 was either people testing e-penis sizes, or someone taking a good item.

For me, I'd just rather there be something else other than story mode. I just think that it's rather unfortunate. The game felt like it was in production forever, but it also felt like it was rushed. They felt that the pvp wasn't right so they took it out for the time being and the game released with mucho bugs. Not sure if I may go back, even when pvp releases, if my high hopes for Guild Wars 2 are rewarded.

me and glock ran are lower levels mid 40's so far the fixes seem right

I ran my Barb up to the first paragon level- never died once. Seems quite a bit eaiser than before. I guess I should re-phrase that in my character seems quite a bit more powerfull now. No legendary drops, but did seem to have a better drop rate on rares.

Also now is a good time to gear up in the auction house. It looks like a lot of people are back to playing, and dumping a ton of items into the AH which drives the prices down quite a bit.
