Pretty good song and I was listening to it while watching your avatar and it matches up pretty well.

Lol, had to try it after you said that. It matches up oddly well.

ewwwww dubstep lol. I could punch my desk, open my blinds, turn on/off my xbox, flip through pages of a book and sloppily put all of those sounds together and call it dubstep

Really depends on the song. Some of them are wonderfully put together while some are just utter crap.

I don't know, from all of the ones I've heard (haven't listened to much), it just sounds like a bunch of random noises thrown into audacity. There's no rythm. The only time I really listen to dubstep now, is when it's in a game or movie in which I have to listen to it (sometimes those aren't too bad because some fit a scene or situation well). I remember this one dubstep peice that had a part that sounded like that dog with the guitar from Animal Crossing was singing. That was funny one.

Yeah, there's definitely a pretty large gap between good and bad dubstep. On one end there are some people with pretty advanced music theory knowledge that definitely implement advanced rhythms, timing changes, etc. On the other end... anyone can pirate some music editing software and throw garbage together.

One of the stations I have on my Pandora list is called "Dubstep" and it's nice to be able to give a thumbs up to songs I like and a thumbs down to songs I never want to hear again. It's really a great way to build up a list of favorite artists without even realizing it when you go to the station details and can look at what you've been giving thumbs up to.
I listen all day on my PC at work. Pandora keeps me sane every day, lol.

I've heard this one before; its a pretty good song. UKF puts up good remixes pretty consistently.

Also be sure to check out MonsterCatMedia and GoingQuantum on Youtube for good mega-mixes. Glad to see a fan of dubstep on the site, we need to share good songs when we come across them!

Yeah, I check MonsterCat, I'll have to give Quantum a look. Don't think I've subscribed to their channel.

I've recently started to listen to some dubstep. I stumbled across Alex Clare after I saw the IE commercial and I downloaded his album and love it. As for music, here's the link to our music thread:
