No shocker here another year another cod

we shall see if it worth it ... but IW has almost turned me off complete to these games...

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be set in the near future according the game's official website, which has gone live ahead of the game's reveal later today. According to the site, Black Ops 2 will push "the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise" and "propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare."

The first trailer, due to debut around 6.30pm PST / 2.30am BST, is teased on the site with a screenshot showing a helicopter flying over a war-torn city – most likely Los Angeles, according to another image on the site – with smoke billowing from skyscrapers. A caption for a greyed-out picture also highlights a Quadrotor screenshot, but no other information is currently available.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be released on November 13 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Stay tuned to IGN for the official trailer released later today.

The sad thing is that people will continue to buy it even if the only difference is a new campaign. It's like yearly release of sport games, you have the same mechanics but the teams have different rosters (which is totally worth $60[Sarcasm]). I like to dislike Call of Duty.

I will get it for sure. I always need a good run and gun game, and Black Ops was my favorite of the recent COD games. The campaign was by far the best of them all.

really black ops was the only reason i got mw3

black ops for me was the funnest game since cod4 and i did love the MP

other then all the penis emblems

I might get it for zombies but as for campaign I still need to start let alone finish the campaign for MW3. Not to mention BF3 is making a huge comeback and then there's GR:FS.

Wow- looks cool and very different. That's probably what the franchise needs to shake it up a bit. It will be more like a new FPS other than just another COD game.

Lost interest in COD half way though black ops. I'm to in love with MOBA games to really care enough to rent even for a different campaign.

Looks like it's moving in the direction of a Halo or ME feel, more futuristic than current which might make it worth picking up.

Ill probably get it as long as I dont have to pay a boatload more for dlc that is only about half worthwhile anyway. Should come with some sort of COD loyalty program thats FREE, not laggy FAIL program that locks up the xbox and wins me icons only other fail game suckers can see.

Oh, and if theres any emblem creation it needs to be monitored. Penis icons get you banned from public servers. That was so sad in BO.

Maybe I wont get it after all.

I must admit that trailer looks sick! d@mn you COD! This actually looks interesting. I guess I will have to wait and see how this one pans out. And since I skipped MW3 maybe I'll be down for Blops2. Goes to put it on GF Q
