...why has my viewing The Office US (and other programs) been interrupted? No doubt it'll be something gay. Please explain.

It's gay as sh1t. Who the f#ck thinks it's a good idea to run replace their leading shows. They're all freakin\' idiots. You don't get this sh1t in England....aside from Doctor Who.

I don't know what was up with last week, but the two weeks before was the NCAA Tournament.

It depends on who buys the rights to air those sporting events. Whoever places the highest big gets the rights to air the event, but I thought it was CBS who aired the NCAA tournament.

If I remember right, this year tourney games were on CBS, TNT, TBS, and maybe ESPN (I know there was a 4th network) and I think most of the Elite 8/Final 4/Championship were on CBS. It's all a huge bidding war for sporting events. I'm pretty sure that I heard that NBC won the rights to the next 4 Olympics (thru 2020) by outbidding the next closest network by $1 billion dollars ( http://www.nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/43311618).

It doesn't matter who has it, whenever there is a big event on TV, most other channels run re-runs.

That's right, I remember thinking that was a weird choice because they're usually running COPS and reality shows. So this year the "sports networks" didn't cover any of the tourney games. That's how we roll here Epic!
