Soooo, Ron Paul?

Where do you guys all stand on him for 2012? My current consensus only extends as far as Reddit, so I thought I'd try and gauge a wider spectrum...

Personally, I think he's exactly what you guys need. Seems to me like he's the only one who wants to make America feel like America again - you know, land of the free and all that.

I thought we try to stay away from politics and religion here, just because both of those are such tricky and sometimes hot issues? Just wondering...

Granted, we're big boys and should most likely be able to have a debate/discussion without things going too far. However, we don't seem to be able to do so. We have two rules, politics and religion. It's not that difficult and it's also the two topics that turn bad most often.

I appreciate however you telling us what to do and how you believe our government should be run...I also appreciate it more how you allow the Royals to take your cash. Just how much does it cost to maintain the Queen? About 40 million pounds right? That’s about 65 pence per person per year of tax money going to the royal family....you know, land of the King, castles, and all that .
