360 might be dying

I think I am having a disk drive issue. Game locked while playing BFBC2. When I restarted my box and intialized the game it went to a black screen and the drive was not making any noise. Current I am installing game data and when I first started it the drive was making wierd mechanical noises like it was having trouble spinning the disk. Weird Considering this is my 3rd box but I have not nearly as much game time on it like my others.

That really sucks to hear Zalacious. Here is hoping it does not die.
Seriously though, I don't know why everybody here has their xboxs die so often...

On more thing.

Has anyone heard of hardware issues manifesting in gameplay as stuttering,something similar to lag? Right before my orginal xbox died for the first time gameplay was getting weird stutterings and freezings.

BTW by loading a dvd into the drive I was able to get the disk drive going again. Not sure how long it will last though.
