The "January Jalopnik Pack" will be available January 3rd either with the game's Season Pass, or separately for the standard rate of 560 MSP.

That RS5 looks like it's going to be freakin\' awesome, just like the rest of the Audi's.

Um, do I see Pinto races in the future? Looks like a good set of cars. I'll have to pick up the Season Pass with the MS points I got for xmas and start getting some of these DLC cars.

You know that there will be a rust skin for that Pinto on day 1. LOL! Also, I really like that Alfa.

Got the season pass (good idea it seems) and will DL this pack, but honestly this is weak. Only one or two real cars here.

I love how Epic thinks he can make someone like Omni, Civic, Alfa, or a Ford Pinto based solely on what he deems to be efficient for racing....seriously?



Let me be sure I clarify, I know what the crappy Omni was and know why they were fast or seemed to be. I know that they hooked up with Carroll Shelby and to hear Shelby tell it they used to beat Mustangs (however that was before Shelby was asked to return to making performance Mustangs) so his "tale" should be interpreted with caution. Anytime a person is on the other side they tend to "boost" what they say about the other side until they are once again playing for the home team.

They were made because Lee Iacocca was in charge at Chrysler and Chrysler was bankrupt. So he did something that was genius at the time for the bottom line. He manufactured everything off the same platform. Yeah they were junk but because so much was shared with all the other cars you got a very large economy of scale. This in turn made chrysler profitable and allowed them to do things like the Viper.

This was made because they basically didn’t change much, stuck a powerful little 2.2Liter engine in it that didn’t cost them much more and they charged a premium for it. The Omnirizon and the K-cars were all Mopar had to work with at the time. They had seen the excitement around the VW GTI (talk about juicing up a dated design with stripes and a little extra hp!) and decided to go along for the ride.

Sure, the Alfa IRL is probably horrible and unreliable, most Alfa's are but they have a lot of race pedigree so it's a good bet that it's fun to drive, just like the Delta and the Stradale.

Let me ask you (or any Forza fan here) a real question.
If I told you to make a list of cars you'd like to race with how long would it be [if ever] before you named the cars on this list? honestly. Lambo sure!! but when would you say "I want to race the 2012 Honda Civic" or the Ford Pinto? Or say "I sure have been itching to race that 2000 Fiat Coupe!"

Think about it.

Civics are super fun to drive IRL. Sure, they've discontinued the type-R but since it's Forza, throw a few upgrades on and you're away.

J/k. You guys are taking this way to seriously. I know that this is the best racing sim available but some of the cars are going to be there just because the devs can make them, no other reason.

I was just voicing an opinion that they have a few crappy ones for this pack (IMHO). Got to respect the cars they already have available however. I was just saying...you can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time.

Besides, it's even harder to please a Klown!

I'm pleased with the pack. New Audi and Honda, and a sweet lambo along with a new pagani. I for one think that's 4 solid cars in a single pack.

See...a man that likes the pack only gets 40% satisfaction.

If a pack only has 1 car I like, I'll buy the car on its own. Any more than that and it's worth it to me. I play enough (and the game will be around long enough) that at some point I'll probably be glad to see all the random ones.

There are 7 cars in there that I would use.
