Question on killstreaks
I understand that there are 3 different ones and you can pick 3 in each.
Do these stack? like for instance do you get 9 kill streak rewards if you have 3 selected in each?
What if you have one selected in each does it work like that in order to fulfill 3 kill streaks?
Just curious how these work especially the specialist one, I see it pointless to have all those perks and not a killstreak reward such as a chopper

Re: Question on killstreaks
I'm not really sure what you are asking. Maybe someone else can better answer this, or you could clarify the question.

Re: Question on killstreaks
i have notice you can stack them sometimes
like there has been a few times i use my UAV and notice in the same spot i have another one ,,,
but the cool thing they finally add in a IW game is being able to select the kill streak you want to use ...which is a cool add on as some time i want/need to call a UAV over my AH 6

No, they don't stack.
If you pick assault you get the ones in assault, pick support you get those, pick specialist you get those. They don't mix and match.

Re: Question on killstreaks
To help answer your question you can only select one kill package (assault, support, specialist) per custom class. once you have choosen one of these kill packages you can only select 3 individual kill streaks within that killpackage.
The assault kill package is stackable but resets when you die. Any kills you earn with your killstreaks durring that life will stack also.
The support kill package is completely stackable by that i mean that even if you die your killstreak keeps climbing.
The specialist kill package like assault kill package resets when you die.
another thing to keep in mind is that capturing an objective, shooting down uav's and hellicopters also count towards your killstreaks. Like sticky said if you roll through all your kill streaks before using any of them you can now scroll though and select which killstreak you want to use.
I hope this helps explain things a little better.

Re: Question on killstreaks
Also just a heads up when you kill someone with the predator missile it counts toward your next kill streak. All other kills from other killstreaks do not count toward your other killstreaks. So I go with care package, predator, chopper

I have noticed that if you switch from a custom class that has support to one that has specialist and then after death switch back to support you still have your previous kills - they stick with you all game long. Anyone confirm this?

Re: Question on killstreaks
I think what Coolhand said above is true, due to the fact that once earned, a reward only disappears with one of the following happening:
1.) The reward is used
2.) The match ends
However, I'm pretty sure that if you earn rewards in assault, then switch to support and earn rewards, you'll have all of the rewards stacked in your queue.
Also, just a reminder, when you get Hardline Pro, 2 assists will equal a kill towards killstreaks.

Up and Down on the D-pad. It's nice to be able and hold that SAM until a chopper or something is unleashed, but still be able to choose what other streaks to use. Also handy to call in the UAV before droping your Care package canister.

Re: Question on killstreaks
direction pad right calls in the killstreak, but direction pad up and down will cycle through the streaks you've earned and have available to call in. No more "I have to call in my airstrike first because it is the last one I earned even though I have a UAV waiting that would help me direct the airstrike."
edit- mrmiller beat me to it.
