Claymores or Betties?
Which do you feel is more effective, the Bouncing Betty or the Claymore? I like how you can toss the Betty out and it’s omni-directional, but it seems more people run through it and survive the explosion over the directly aimed claymore.
Which do you prefer and why?

Claymores, because they have a higher chance of killing someone also, they have a larger range compared to the betty which is why sometimes people survive from the betty

Personally I get killed by way more claymore than betty...I run wide to miss them (the guy laying down covering the area will still kill me) but the betty didn't.

This has happened a few times and works here and there. when the betty pops up i have seen people drop to prone n survive the explosion.

Bettys are just more pretty but I agree that a claymore is a more serious mine that does more damage, ie. more kills.

Betty's seem to get spotted a lot more than the claymores do.

Re: Claymores or Betties?
I did get a double kill last night with one betty. The enemy kept pouring out of one location, and we had a good fight at the pinch point. Once it was a bit clear I ran in and tossed the betty, and as I was retreating "boom" double kill!

Re: Claymores or Betties?
haha, with sitrep pro I have a "habit" of always trying to shoot the betty or claymore and killing an enemy, especially my own when i see them getting close lol

Re: Claymores or Betties?
I vote neither because of the stalker pro ability that most ppl tend to run with and that just makes the clay more and betty useless at that point but thats me I wish it was like black ops and I could carry a frag, a flash and a claymore but swapping out the frag for a betty or clay jsut isnt worth it

I agree with this, I don't like having to give up the nade for either of these.

Re: Claymores or Betties?
Depends on the day for me, sometimes I like to be able to cook my nade and then be able to bounce it off ceilings or around corners and sometimes it's nice to be able to stick a juggernoob or ninja turtle.

Re: Claymores or Betties?
I agree with cool hand I hate that they put it in the same slot as the semtex cause I will never not use semtex.

Re: Claymores or Betties?
im with sock on this depends on what i feel like because I like bouncing my frags off the wall to get the douche behind the corner....Semtex has its options as like being to stick it to a ceiling above the enemy and to their face...

Re: Claymores or Betties?
I've only used betties, only because I was sniping before I unlocked claymores. They were ok, not too terribly powerful. But work as long as the person doesn't have Stalker Pro or Sitrep. The rest of the time, I'm using frags.
