Heli's Jets and other Vehicles...lol

So I've noticed that there really isn't alot of vehicle camping going on in BF3 like I thought there would be to start off the launch of the game, and to be honest I like how the vehicles aren't as arcade-like as they were in previous BF titles on the console. Anywho I was wondering if there was anyone interested in joining up tomorrow with me in finding some fairly vacant rooms and practicing being a vehicle team, I love running and gunning in this game but I want to more or less be apart of a vehicle team, heli's or tanks preferably. I should be on at like 1130 or midnight so if anyones interested lets do it.

If I get a chance I'll "practice" as well. I like playing the support gunner as much as driving. In the other BF games (1943, BC1&2) I was pretty good at driving the tanks, but never was good at the planes or helios.

I've always preferred being on foot to vehicles but was crazy good with jets in bf2, so I may have to remaster them again.

i used the jet once and crashed like a bat out of hell lol. Ive driven the jeep twice and have ran over a few people.

Me too. I have crashed every single flying vehicle I have tried to pilot. Jet are much easier to fly right off the bat but hard to master. The Helo's are really tough to just pick up and fly. Either way, I still end up crashing at some point.

Tanks and Jeeps are a different story. I can handle either with skill. Especially Jeeps. I can fly across the map in these and drive with skill.

I'm down. Looks like I'll finally have time tonight. Probably leave to watch end of the World Series, but then jump back on.

I am by far a terrible air pilot but I seem to be able to pilot the Littlebird best, which is odd since everyone seems to say it's the hardest to pilot. Again, I will state that I'm NOT a good pilot so don't look for me to be doing loops and stuff, but that's the flying vehicle I like the most.

As for ground vehicles, I love any of the tanks, now that I have that coax machine gun and I'll pretty much use the other vehicles if I'm tired of running across the boards or if I'm looking to Dirka Dirka some enemy vehicles and/or positions.

I've found that if you are in a more aggressive helicopter its easier to YAW in the chosen direction then when the helicopter starts to roll counter act it with the right stick keeping yourself perfectly level. doing this is a basic manuever then after that you can let it go a little more freely and learn how to correct it causing you to be able to whip the tail end around faster. Just make sure your subtle on the right stick, the left stick is where the steering is with helicopters. mess with the right one too much and your going bottom side up, or could wobble into the ground or trees.

Little Bird is my favorite too, so agile. I too love the tank with coax HMG and optic zoom, pwnage!

Sounds like I have to put some work in on the helos so that I can do some aerial pwning. As for the zoom, that's sweet too! I just recently unlocked that and I love to vehicle snipe with a tank. I was doing that when I was playing on the island level with the beach landing... I just sat on the hill when we were defending and raped the tanks and vehicles as they hit the shore. It's great to disable the lead vehicles, stranding everyone on the beach.

I still haven't even started playing with vehicles yet. Tanks sure but there's usually such a battle over getting the air vehicles I rather just do my thing on foot.

That's me too- plus I know I such at all the air support anyhow, and don't want to hurt the team while I'm trying to learn. I may do the co-op thing though, as it sounds like a good "trainer".
