S7 BF3 Platoon

That's is pretty good.

Now when I try to login it gives me this error "Buy BF3 to get access to Battlelog. Check the FAQ." The FAQ says try playing the MP or co-op if you have trouble logging in from the game. I'm trying to log in from the website because when I try to access it on the game it says that the account isn't set up yet and to visit the website. Do I have to enter my account info into the game somewhere?

Check and make sure you have the correct GamerTag linked to your acct.

I can't seem to update my GT. I know this was correct when my GT was DeadSockPuppet but now that it's S7 SockPuppet I can't seem to change it. When I look at the id's attached to my account it shows none for XBL:



Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? The EA FAQ's are useless as far as I'm concerned.

Can you make a new account with your current GT and just not worry about the old one?

Possibly, but I think when I tried that it said something about the email account being linked to an account already. I might try changing the email to an old email so that I can use my current email for a new account.

I would give that a try. Might be the only way.

I'll see what I can do. If that doesn't work I guess I'll just have to create a new email account for it or something. I'll post up the results once I get a chance to play around with it.

you need to email someone at ea to link your gamertag if youre having trouble. Ive been having the same trouble and I know how to fix it, its just...I don't know who to email to fix it lol. So standby and ill see if i can figure it out within the next few days. Or if you find out by trolling the EA forums let me know too because I can bet we're not the only ones having trouble.

Got it. Finally checked the site on my laptop, the chat bar wasnt loading on my phone so didn't see the invite down there before.

Will wait for your assistance Corps. I tried the changing my email to and old address so that I could use my current one for a new account and that didn't work.

Okay, so I just figured this out the simplest way possible. I'm assuming that EA doesn't do the "gamertag link on request" service like they used to due to the lack of UI friendliness in their FAQ section, so it's a pretty much do it yourself fix. The way I did it was to download an EA demo, I'd recommend you use the FIFA 12 demo seeing as it was the one I used, and it will prompt you to sign in to EA servers or update your EA Email address. Of course you will want to create a gmail or whatever kind you prefer, email account for this and replace the existing email with the newly created email address. Log into battlelog with the information you used and it will prompt you through the rest of the process.

BTW my Battlelog name is CorpsManS7 for whoever needs it.

Corpsman I tried to send u a friend request, but that name does not exist. Have u logged into Battle Log with it? Easiest way is just to search for S7 tag platoon and apply to be a member.

Still have to play around with this when I get some time and see if I can get it to work.

I applied. Was digging through Battlelog for a little bit and I think the stat tracking for the clan is pretty cool. Please add me asap.

Doesn't look like I'm going to get into this anytime soon. My GT isn't linked to my EA/Origin account and the troubleshooting suggestions haven't worked. I've tried contacting customer support but they haven't responded. Oh well!

I'll try that again, but so far it hasn't worked. I'm currently on my third email account trying to get this to work. Supposedly the email you use is supposed to be the same as the one you use for XBL, but I haven't confirmed/denied this.
