Sweet deal, by the time it launches I'll probably be in the mood for gta again

I got bored with GTA 4 and never finished it. I know I'm a bad gamer and sometime I'll have to go back and finish it.

GTA 4 was one of the most fun games I've ever played and the attention to detail is incredible. I still play it from time to time and each time I do, I am still amazed by it.

Cannot wait for GTA 5!!!

GTA 4 mp was fun as hell just jumping on with a bunch of the guys roaming the city doing crazy stunts and what not. It will be interesting to see were 5 will take place

Yeah, I figured it was either going to be Miami or Los Angeles. Can't wait either way. GTA 4 was an amazing technical achievement and a great game.

Can't wait. Played every GTA that came out.
Tried that saints row game and it was nothing compared to GTA IV.

Sounds cool I've even read up on that texture pack that guys slowly creating for GTA 4, that still boggles my mind how good they guy makes the game look.

Perhaps a cameo of CJ in this new one...

That would be pretty sweet, although I would love them to go back to Miami for one and have some of those characters make cameos. Either way, it should be a great game.

Vice City was probably my favorite GTA, but honestly it was the atmosphere that made the game. The game world itself was very flat and featureless, so a modern-day Miami like many people have been talking about would suck imo. Even GTA3 had more environmental variety. I think GTA:SA (minus the eating and working out crap) was perfect when it came to what GTA should be. It had a huge open world that had so many different landscapes (downtown cities, suburban towns, urban towns, rural area, desert area, etc), the right amount of fun (jetpack + parachute = win), and the customization with both your character and vehicles.

Personally, I can't wait for GTA5

I agree with Giraffe... the atmosphere in Vice City was fantastic and Ray was a fantastic choice for the voice but I did love the openness of San Andreas.

GTA III and Vice City were both amazing games. And while I enjoyed San Andreas it did seem to go a little far over the top (Jet Packs etc...). GTA IV was by far my favorite. More realistic but still open to do almost anything you want. Graphic and attention to detail was nothing short of ground breaking. The only thing I really missed was the small planes. They were fun to fly but the helo's did the trick I guess.

Hey does anyone else remember trying to fly the little planes in GTA III? They had broken wings but you could actually fly them if you learned how.

Looks great! Has the same old dark Rockstar-GTA look but the graphics look better than GTA 4. Should be a great game.
