Battlefield 3 preorder Amazon: $40

For those who haven't ordered yet. Amazon is giving 20 dollars store credit to preorder BF3, it is limited edition,too. Pretty good deal. Might order this game afterall.

Hmmm, maybe I'll be able to convince my wife to let me get the game since it will only be $40. I'll have to look into what overnight shipping costs and see how fast I can get the game... credit is good towards a future purchase but I could probably use it to buy xmas gifts for the wife and family, this might be the push I needed to get this game.

Anyone know when what time of the day Amazon preorders tend to arrive if you pick "Release Day Delivery"? When I looked at the FAQ it says that the rate is based on zip code (which makes sense) and won't be known until the confirmation page for the order but it doesn't say anything about when they start making deliveries. I'd hate to pay extra for that and then have the game come that night.

d@mn, just checked my schedule and realized that I'm off Tuesday AND Wednesday... this is really making it hard to not get this game.

Game day delivery from Amazon (delivery on Tuesday aka overnight) is only $0.99. I already have it preordered there as with most of my games.

$1 is definitely worth it.

Cheaper than anywhere else I have found. Games are always on time and many have amazon credits. I get most of my games there.

Yeah, it seems like a sweet deal and since I'm off Wed also, I wouldn't be as concerned with when the game comes because I could play all night and the next day. Not to mention I have to take my car into the shop. Do they usually require a signature for the delivery? I'd hate to be gone when the game comes and then have to wait until the next day to have another delivery attempt made.

Not sure. I always have packages delivered to my work.

Going to have to try and broach this subject after she gets home from having a root canal tonight, might not be a go on this one. Oh, by the way, I know you're in pain, but can I buy another video game.

I just ordered I was on the fence but decided to go ahead and see what all the fuss is about. It better be good or I am going to b pissed at u guys.

I just preordered it on amazon last night as well. Now i have a total of 70 dollars in credits. Which im actually planning on using on a tablet.

Ordered it last night, i wasn't gonna buy BF3, but they got me. This texture pack and 20 dollar amazon credit was a great deal.

Lucky bastard. You finally convinced me to get this game now with this offer. I was probably going to ask for it for xmas but I couldn't pass this one up and my wife didn't put up any fight... "get it if it will make you happy." This will make me happy! See everyone on sometime tomorrow and/or Wed.
