Saw this the other day...I was like WHAT? It looks good too.
Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember the Thing from years ago...LOL

hey dont worry i have seen the thing a sh1t load it was a great movie used to scare the crap out of me when i was little

It's a prequel to the John Carpenter "the Thing: (which in itself was a remake). If you remember in that movie, they find “the Thing” in a destroyed Norwegian base. This is what happened to them before Kurt Russell’s team arrived. I'm looking forward to this one too.

I've never seen any of the "The Thing" versions [waits to be slapped in the face] because I'm not a huge horror film guy, but I saw previews for this new one and it looks pretty good.
