any one doing a midnight?

i get off work at 1130pm my time so on my way home ill be picking mine up

any one down for some MP or Horde around 2AM est?

Not sure if I'll be getting this one at midnight or not. The gamestop I have mine pre-ordered at is about 70 miles away and I don't know that I'll be up for gaming after driving 70 miles at night through a rainstorm. Much more likely to just see me on tomorrow.

He got a copy of his game early from GameStop, wit a nice little note telling him to wait till midnight tonight. ROFL!

70 freakin miles one way? Holy crap dude I would just mail order stuff if I lived that dang far from stuff. I'm all for peace and quiet but man that's a heck of a commute...

Lol I work in a tiny littly town that doesn't even have a mcdonalds, live in a bigger valley on the weekends (where I pre-ordered the game). Not a big deal except for games releasing on tuesday nights. Luckily I can go to company meetings that happen tuesday mornings and take a work car.

I traded my Friday off for Tuesday just to play...I think the nerd transformation is beginning. Lol

He is lucky and I'd hate to be tempted that way. It's like mom giving you a bike on 12/20 and asking you to wait until the morning of 12/25 to ride (so the neighborhood kids don't get jealous).

the funny thing is he could go ahead and play it and not get in trouble as he has a legit copy of the game which he payed for the only person that would get in big trouble would be gamestop for letting a copy go b4 the release date

Also, with the strong history gamestop has of sending out games before release date? and that super official not created in paint letter I would doubt it's even legitimately from Gamestop.

Not sure. Just saw it on one of the blog sites this morning. Either way, he definitely has a copy of the CE version of the game. And another article stated that something like 24,000 people were online playing this morning worldwide, so some people are getting a copy early.

so if there are 24,000 people online illegally playing, what will it hurt to be +1 LOL

Getting my copy at midnight as well, not sure if I will play much though.

I do the same thing. I write the schedule at work and so I usually schedule myself off on release Tuesdays so that I can nerd all day with my new toy. I used to take the night off before but I almost prefer to work the night before, then I'm already out and about and I just have to roll over to GameStop to pick up my game.

Not midnight, but my copy is out for de3livery today! See you guys tonight, although I will probably be playing the campaign first.

I am hoping to get this from game fly but I did not get a game back in time to be in the first shipment. So I will wait a bit I sent a game back Sat.

d@mn, I'm tired...this is why my old ass doesn't stay up past midnight anymore...but I did get a state of the game before heading to bed, and It looks and plays great so far. Can't wait to hop on tonight...

UPDATE: Got it in my hot little hands now! Too bad I have to work all day, staring at it. Perhaps I am feeling a little sick?

Didn't grab it last night, may not be on until the weekend. Not off until Friday and work is pretty crazy right now. I'll catch up...have fun gents!

Ok So I caved. I went to Gamestop to preorder Forza4 LE and walked out with Gears 3 as well. I figured I would be waiting a month or so for it from game fly.
