The first week sucked for me. My #1 draft choice did nothing (3 points, seriously?), but I'm happy I rolled the dice on Vick so far. I noticed one of the top players of the week went undrafted, so who knows what the season will hold.

I kinda know how you feel. In this league my starting kicker has a knee injury that will most likely result in a season-ending injury. I know that's not close to the same, but hey, at least you got 3 points. I'm still hoping to thrash Wiggles.

Congrats Wiggles on your first win. It helps to have QB and team that put up record numbers. I'm waiting for the flogging you're going to give me for my pre-game trash talk.

Ouch- lost by a quarter of a point! I could have moved into second place with a win, but Glock beats me and it's him in 2nd.

And Wiggles is still undefeated after 8 weeks. Can't say its luck either, as he as made the most waiver moves and is managing his team well.

Sorry that I gave him a solid defense, especially since I got Tebow out of the deal, J/K. Tebow makes an ok backup to Rogers and I rarely used the defense so it worked out for both of us, except that I had to then turn around and play against that defense.

Taking Wiggles out of the picture, looks like it's going to continue to be a battle for 2nd and 3rd in the league.

Gotta love being on the outside looking in. I need you guys to start pwning Droopy and Miller so that I can steal that #4 spot. Good luck to everyone for the rest of the season.

It's really close for everyone but Wiggles. I'm 5th right now, but if I would have beat Glock last week I would be 2nd. So one game can swing pretty wide.

@Miller - Yeah, I'm 4th but only because of points earned. A solid week by either Droopy or you and that changes really quick.

Last week of the regular season! It's going to be a barn-burner! Only the top four teams will move into the two-week playoff.

Standings, Team, Record, Opponent, Playoff chances:
1 Wiggles 11-2 He is the only one to have clinched a playoff spot.
2 Coolhand 7-6 vs OC; a win means playoff, a loss may mean a tiebreaker. (1277)
3 Miller 7-6 vs Puppet; a win means playoff, a loss may mean a tiebreaker. (1170)
4 Puppet 6-7 vs Miller; needs a, and even then there will be a tiebreaker.. (1249)
5 Glock 6-7 vs Droopy; needs a, and even then there will be a tiebreaker. (1156)
6 JWriter 6-7 vs Wiggles; a must win situation, and even then there will be a tiebreaker. (1102)
7 Droopy 5-8 vs Glock; if he wins and Miller and Wiggles win he will have a tie breaker. (1175)
8 OC 4-9 vs Coolhand; unfortunately his season is over, no possible playoff chance.

As you can see 7 of the 8 teams could still win it all. There is no bye week, so the next three weeks will determine our champ.

If Wiggles, Coolhand, Miller, and Droopy win there will be a tie break between Puppet, Glock, JWriter, and Droopy. There are so many possible outcomes! The tie break is determined by the total points scored which I put in parenthesis. Puppet and I would almost certainly win our tie breaks, but Droopy, Miller, and Glock could duel for spots. The only one that absolutely must win this week is JWriter since his total points are low.

Good luck to everyone!

That is why the 8 team/small bench system works so well. It most always comes down to the last week for most all the players.

And I like the fact that with 14 weeks and 8 teams everyone plays each team twice during the regular season. For some of us that means getting hammered by the same team twice or possibly being able to return the beating in a second meeting. This has been one of my most favorite years for fantasy football, because of the competition and the fact that this league almost has a college football feel to it with almost any team winning almost any game. Congrats to Wiggles and good luck to everyone else!

That's why I roll it that way- you play everyone twice and the season is over before the last week of the NFL (so you don't have to worry about your stars only playing one quarter and then resting up for the playoffs). I've been playing fantasy football for almost 20 years (I think the first was in 94) and this is about the best system I have found. I just started the fractional points a couple of years ago, as we would seemingly always get a tie and the tie breakers were all terrible. With the fractional points, it's going to be 100x less likely to have a tie and have to worry about such issues.

7. OC 2-6-0 L-6

So much worse looking than my team really was. I lost so many close weeks.

I have a hand full of guys who were just so inconsistent.
would have huge games one week then make like one catch or run for 30 yards the next.

Yea, you didn't draft Chris Johnson with your #1 pick, so I don't want to hear about inconsistent. LOL.

It's so lame that I got knocked out of the Champion Bracket because of a blocked field goal, how tragically epic.

Congrats to Coolhand for pulling out the win in the finals for the Live Draft S7 league. Wiggles pretty much dominated the league in the regular season, but the finals was a #1 vs. #2 match-up, with Coolhand taking a 19 point win.
