Dead Island Launches Next Week

Who planning on getting it? It's got 4-player drop in drop out co-op. (And zombie killing!) I am not expecting it to be great but it should be fun. I have it on my GF list and an open slot so I should get a copy next week. Anyone else getting it and down to play?

Ya I got it on my Gamefly and it's the only game in the que, so I should get it day one or two. And I don't think it's gonna be anything more then a open world left4dead

I'm not even expecting that much. Left 4 Dead has some fantastic gameplay, as most Vavles games do. This doesn't seem that refined or polished but I just hope it doesn't cripple the game. Open world, RPG ish, zombie killing co-op!? That has to be at least a little fun. And maybe even great if we are lucky. Either way I am going to check it out.

I don't really get this game, I'm kinda 'meh'.

Hey, I still play Dirt 3. Great game frankly. Can't help it if noobs traded off their copy's but I don't regret that game 1 bit.

Me too GF shipped today, I guess because Monday is a holiday. Pretty cool.

This game looks interesting, Shawn of the Dead meets GTA. However, I probably won't be picking up a copy. Post up when you guys start playing if it's worth trying out.

gametrailers gave it a 8.5, IGN = 8.0 but I'm still on the ropes. glad it has 26+ hours of gameplay.
