"Jackass" Star Ryan Dunn Dies in Car Accident

According to April Margera who called into Preston and Steve's radio show this morning, one of the stars of MTV’s "Jackass” was killed in a car accident.

Ryan Dunn died when his Porsche flew over a guardrail on Route 322 in West Goshen, Pa. slammed into a tree and burst into flames around 2:30 Monday morning, Officer Geiger with the West Goshen police department told us.

Dunn was known primarily for his dangerous antics and practical jokes in the "Jackass" movies with his long-time friend Bam Margera. He is also a member of the CKY Crew with Margera.

Ryan Dunn was 34.

Indeed. He has just starting to break out of Bam's shadow and despite not liking the Jackass stuff all that much, I kinda liked this guy. Quite a shame. RIP.

Yeah I liked Dunn a lot it was a shock to hear him die.... He was funny to watch on TV and hearing that he started a new show on G4 just makes it even more upsetting...Jackass Wont be the same without him...Plus I also was reading he was Speeding at around 110MPH where the Crashed happened.

Main thing is, this was the last photo posted hours before his death... drinking!!
So kids the morale is drinking and driving still kills... Grow up just a little. He killed himself, but could have easily killed someone else.

Aww, always enjoyed his stuff. I watched a lot of Viva La Bam in my days.

Correction, there was an unidentified passenger that was killed as well. Very sad.

And it's unclear who was driving. Obviously the speeds point towards drinking but those guys have always been a bit crazy.

On June 20, 2011, Dunn died of injuries sustained in a car crash.

All news I see says he is gone. Sad, he was very funny. I'll always remember the matchbox car x-rays.

TMZ said they confirmed with Bam's mom...I doubt she'd lie to TMZ for a joke....not one like that anyway.

The girl reading the feed last night on AOTS was visibly upset about the news...so, it's def real. I'm wondering what they're gonna do about proving ground...

Comcast owns the G4 show, and have already pulled it.

I don't think they should have pulled the show, it's a really cool show. If anything leave it up as a tribute to his craziness. Then again, maybe they're thinking a guy who possibly dies from a DUI and killed someone else, shouldn't get that kind of exposure after death.
