DLC revealed

The first downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops has been revealed. It'll go on sale on the Xbox 360 on February 1, and cost $15.

The DLC comes in the form of a multiplayer map pack, containing four "regular" levels and one for the game's zombie mode.

Two of the regular maps are based on locations from the singleplayer campaign — Hong Kong and the Arctic Circle - while the other two take in Cold War locations we're surprised the game didn't visit first time around: the Berlin Wall and an ice hockey stadium.

As we all know, Microsoft struck a deal with publishers Activision for Black Ops' downloadable content to appear on the Xbox 360 first. So 360 owners, you'll get the pack on February 1, everyone else...well, there are plenty of things you can spend $15 on in the meantime that have a little more substance to them.

yeah I was hoping for more though like the 4 new maps a Zombie map and a couple redo maps to top it off. Oh well

ya the cod name will always come with the $15 price tag

you are right about the price thing klown they seen that people will pay it for dlc so y not there in it for the money thats just business for ya .

and plus 1200 this time around is well be it still higher then i would like but alot better for what we are getting VS what IW put out for the same price.

I got to thinking about the abandoned hockey rink in the northeastern united states...what if it was the Spectrum in Philadelphia. Well it's no longer there but that would be funny if it was. It probably won't really resemble any real stadium but it's just a thought.

No, lol...and Klown forget about 2xp I just prestiged and it's not that bad pushing back up, but spend all your credits first or you'll lose them. On the gamer sigs in game.

Since I don't prestige, I don't care about the x2 XP. I haven't played zombies either so I don't care about that map, but I'll buy the map pack anyway to give me some new variety in MP. Besides, a 1-2 man boycott won't change the market. ;-)

I'm definitely getting all map packs for Black Ops.

New maps are out...I like them. There are two that are sniper maps, and two close quarter with many paths to sneak around. I mainly did a private tour of the maps to check them out. Worth getting.

I DL'd mine this morning when I got up. It DL'd pretty quick (XBL @ 8am FTW) but I didn't get a chance to play as I had to go to work. Still, I am ready to go for tonight.

I did mine from work this morning...I'll crank the box up when I get home.

DL'ing right now. The "Oklahoma Blizzard" has me snowed in and at home today! Same day the map pack comes out = win!
