Hardcore

Does anyone else like to play Hardcore Team DeathMatch? I've been playing it a lot lately, but have been reluctant to send out invites as I know a lot of you don't like it. Then again, the only time I can really play without interruption is after 11.

I play it all the time...my favorite. People don't like it because it's harder and takes more skill not to die.

I would rather play HC TDM myself.

Even when we play Team Deathmatch, a lot of people get bored of it or complain of campers and stuff. So I wanted to get a feel for who likes Hardcore, as it’s has even more campers, and without the kill cam they really can p!ss you off.

I like not having the radar, the increased bullet damage, and the slower play. It makes TDM a bit more tactical, and not just running out and shooting as fast as you can. I constantly move really slow around the map, and it feels more like a hunt than in the normal TDM which is a race to get kills. Plus, with it being slower you don’t have the problems of people spawning right behind you, and you can actually creep to the enemy side and flank them.

The bad thing is you can get those idiotic team killers. They will get kicked after 3 team kills and even though you die, it doesn’t register as a death for you (you do loose you kill streaks). You just have to be really careful with the rolling thunder and napalm, as I have seen many a badly dropped air strike get the player booted from the game for team kills- lol.

Your load out matters in this one. Attaching a silencer and longer clip = win
I've always loved this mode and play it often. I stalk and run n gun...it's possible but you have to watch your angles and use your environment to hide your silhouette as much as possible. I forgot the name of the perk but the one that protects you from explosive damage works very well saving you from instant death from most explosives.

I like to play it too, but you're right. Nobody ever wants to play.

I've grown to like it more and more all of the hardcore modes.

I like it. SnD is really what made me love CoD though.

Atrum I agree with you Snd reminds me of the old Graw siege days.

Played it for the first time a little at the beginning of the holidays with some of the clan. Found it to be fun if you are playing with people you know. Bummer with randoms because it is more teamwork oriented since you don't have the cues to assist you in your situational awareness. Would play again if I got an invite.
