MLB 2K10

MLB 2K10 will be out soon. << Klown Pumped!!>>
We've had previous discussion on who will be getting this game. If you will, please reply again as OC and I will be creating a league and will need the number of players possibly available and the teams you will take.

It's a three inning thing you pick the Yankees or Philles
I like the changes to the pitching and swinging systems
The graphics look to be more sleek and seems they fixed some of the quirks from the last game

I've trolled the internet and have read what people think so far about the demo.
Why? because I said I was going to get the "majority" of the reaction to see what others thought of the demo....

I have NOT seen one negative post (per se). Of course one would say something like no commentary...not a negative because we all know its a demo. Or one would say I wasn't able to hit a home run and neither did the AI. Not a negative because previously the complaint was too easy to hit home runs. Plus, it's a demo and not on the hardest of settings...

I was going to sample about 20 posts, but after awhile became obsessed with finding someone that didn't like it...I couldn't!!

Instead I heard about the "steal" camera being great, the contact batting to stay up there and battle the pitcher, the angle changes when you get a left handed pitcher, the fact that every time you play the demo it's a different pitcher, the graphics improved, collision detection, ridiculous stats for both batter and pitcher (stuff like Jeter's approach when down 0-2 facing left handed pitchers after the 2nd inning on hot days )

Weird, I'm having the same problem as 2K8 and 2K9, which is the exact opposite of what you described Klown. All I can hit are solo homers, even hit one using contact with Ryan Howard. I can never seem to get base hits with the 2K series since 2K7. Still, 2K10 seems a LOT better than the older versions, though nowhere near The Show.

Well, maybe you're just that good giraffe, but you are getting this one and play with us; not the Show...right?

If I had a PS3 I'd definitely pick up the show, but since I don't have a PS3.....still not picking this game up. My money's going towards Splinter Cell, FF13 (hopefully 14 too), Starcraft 2, and probably Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake.

Yeah 2K10 is the best one yet on 360, but that's not really saying much. It still has the same ol' clunky feel to it. I'm a huge baseball game fan so it's really upsetting for me to be passing on an MLB game yet another time. I'll stick to High Heat 04 for now, hopefully 2K11 will finally wow me

HAHA, you know I REALLY enjoy watching the Nats everyday...never miss a game either in person or on the tube. My team is and will always be the Yankees, but I have a serious soft spot in my heart for the NATS. They suck like crazy, but I like what I see...they really try and that counts for something. Usually dropping a lead because the bullpen sucked so bad. Anyway, I'll gladly destroy you on MLB 2K10 when you're the NATS and look forward to having some really good games with you (and them).

Check out the developer walk-through as they describe the many different changes to the game this year. Be sure you select the HD version and full screen to see the game play at it's best. Unless you're running on a slower connection that won't accept the full beauty this game has to offer..LOL

Tuesday is almost here, the day has come, a new day for the 2K division! (maybe) Guess we'll see how it all pans out. I will have this tomorrow!!! Can't wait!!

Oh yeah, be sure you check out the MLB Today addition to this game where the announcers talk about REAL games that happened the night before or the upcoming games and real rankings at the time you're playing...this game is going to be sick. going to pick it up when i get battlefield today, but might not play it for a few days because of BF2. when are we starting everything?

Well...I guess we can start next week. Give everyone a few days to play, look around, be impressed, start learning the new pitching and hitting and then no one can complain.

I'd say Monday, 3/8 start the leagues and get her rolling...suggestions/disagreements welcome.
