the Mother of all MW2 tourneys (MOAMW2T)

What up Players Im gonna put on one last MW2 tourney. This will be the real deal holyfield! ONLY S7 CLAN members can enter. Its gonna be on SAT JULY 31, time to be determined by Thursday the 29th.
Im hoping that this will be the best one yet, I havent worked out all the details yet, So far I know its gonna be ALL TEAM objective stuff probably domination and demoliton . There will be no deathmatch rounds in this tourney. The whole team will win some stuff that Ill throw down (see poll in forum). This will be "my Gathering for 2010" since I don't get to go to FL this year. I hope to have all the details ironed out buy thursday the 29th so we can get right down to bizzness on sat. Im thinking 4 rounds of demolition and 4 rounds of CTF or domonation with 1 round if necessary of Search and Destroy with 5 lives limit for tie breaker. post up your ideas and rules so we can narrow it down buy thursday the 29th. Teams will be picked either by captians(which Ill pick day of game) or the random number thing. So everybody "bring the Pain" and lets do this. long live the kraken

I have soccer games at 2:00, 3:00, and 3:55 so I'll be home by 5:30. Anytime after that is good for me

Same as Sticky, though I do have work on weekdays now, but that's not gonna get in the way of a Saturday Tourney. You know I'll bring the pain. K/D for the win lol jk.

For those Hardcore Mothers that are Gonna play the Tourney on the 31st. What if any special rules do you want? I will start another poll if you guys want, but I have so many polls now that I feel like a stripper. Here are a few of my suggestions:
1) no special rules at all
2) no commando (yada yada i know)
3) no noob tube
4) no predator missles
5) no rader except when uav is on
6) no rader at all
7) no chopper gunner or ac130 unless it came from care package
losers from first game type round pick kill streaks for next game type
9) loseing team from previous round picks next map (no repeats) per game type.
10. Sticky plays with riot sheild only

No team Deathmatch or Search? You gotta have one of those 2 in there LOL.

that's what the other slot is for on the poll. I don't care what we play. I personally like tdm and s&d. S&D with 6 lives was pretty fun, will play what the majority wants. The other team game types are take more team effort than tdm and we haven't played a whole tourny with just them.

Also EVERYbody put in some suggestions on the rules! Those were just my 2 cents

I would not put S&D with more than 1 life. Spawns are fixed and someone in position could grape the other team.

I'm ok with it , the later the better for me . We will try and get a who's gonna play and what time it's gonna be , by next Thursday . I would like to get the rules set by monday also

We could just split the tournament into a early and late night one like the other tourney. I personally could not make if be only had one at 12:30 AM or so. It would be 2:30 at night for me...

no noob tube, rpg, at5, javelin

Team with highest total points wins
Winning players will receive choice of $10 gamestop or amazon gift card

Extra mini tourney for glock and the other people who can't make it to the big one

Mini tourney to be held after big one
Same rules
2 rounds of free for all with 7 lives only
Person with highest number of kills wins
Winner will receive 1600 msp

FYI : Tourney to start at 1130 pm Central time

If the majority(>75%) of the people that show up agree then we can do the fallowing:
If not enough players show up we can wait until later or we can start and if they show up before we start demolition and there is even number of people we can let them join in at that time.

2nd late night tourney game type/rules can be altered. just think of some ideas and I only have one 1600 msp card.

Man, I had blast ! we had some really close matches. And I had an last second predator save on one match of demo. I also had a Mega Epic Predator fail when I killed my own teammates that were diffusing the bomb.(d@mn friendly fire) sorry dudes. Anyway It was another awesome tourney and a great time. I wish I wouldn't have ran out of alcohol though and I sucked monkey butt in FFA tourney. Thanks everybody that showed up last nite I know it was kinda late. Thanks Sticky for making the Free for All game more exciting, by offering up your 1600msp and making that top 4 showdown it was cool. The Whole shotguns only on rust was also insane.

Grats again to team 1 and Wonky. And thanks Droopy that was a riot!

That was fun stuff. We were in a constant struggle in domination (except on Wasteland) but never were totally out of it. I think we did loose one map by quite a few points, but if I remember we lost the other two maps by only about 30. I thought our team did really well on domination too.

I was super tired that night, but the adrenaline flow during those matches was intense, and made for a great night.
