just called my gamestop and they gave me the trade in values. So tomorrow i will reserve the slim for delivery july 9th, since they sold out today.

You know the xbox at 100 includes one wireless controller? So really they only give you 75 for the xbox.

We were talking about this last night and I am definetly down for doing this.

$25 per wireless controller - I have 2
$25 per games listed on there site - I have 3
plus money for hard drives/ memory units, and wifi adaptors.
I have a 60gb hd = $35
well worth a trade in to upgrade to a new dead sexy box w/controller and 250gb hd
plus extras

well i have 2 boxes as is... so i might ditch my white one w/ 20GB hard drive... and i have about 10 controllers at this point... plus i see RDR is getting $25 for trade in value atm... so i might just have to do this...

I'm getting mines for free I'm trading in an Xbox since I have three 2 remotes a wifi adapter2 games of the list, a 20 GB hdd, and since they're giving you 25 dollars extra credit at GS for any hardaware trade in I'm a trade in one of my PS3's which should net me atleast 100 since it's the rare launch system with all the adapters.

Xbox: $100
Controller: $25
2 $25 dollar games (splinter cell, UFC 2010): $50
120 GB harddrive: $40 after I get my new xbox

So $85 out of my own pocket thats not bad

SG is right you will have to play an extra $25 dollars if you thought you only had to trade in your xbox 360 to get $100

Anybody know how to backup your hard drive befor you trade it in. Can you just put your stuff on a USB stick and then treansfer it back

you CAN us your old xbox hard drive transfer cable if you have one .. that and a memory card AKA USB jump drive

You guys are right but remember the 360 came with a remote anyways and you get one back when you get your new system so that nullifies that issue lol.

I went down and reserved mine. Just from game trade ins alone I all ready have $153 payed off
I brought in three of those $25 games and got $80 total

July 9th is when they say they are told the next shipment will be in. So with the $100 for the system
+$25 for a controller
added to a total of already down
I will be paying very very little out of pocket for a brand new xbox 360.

Huge upgrade from my original box with 60gb hd.

what would be the best way to transfer all ur stuff to ur new hard drive before u actually trade everything in and leave the store?

a transfer cable or a good sized USB drive

or if the store is cool with you do all that stuff in the store b4 you leave
