Clan Command


Generals (GEN) - Clan Command
The Generals are the administrators and commanding officers of the “Sacred Seven” clan. The generals are referred to as the Clan Command (CC) and are made of the clans founders. The clan command is a council style ruling body in which every General has an equal say in the operations of the clan. The Clan Command strives for unity and a consensus decision at all times, but with odd number of generals (3), if issues must come to a vote a conclusion can be reached.

Clan Officers

Colonel (COL) - Clan Officer
The Clan Officers (CO) are among the highest ranking members of the clan. These are the members who lead the clan by example, as well as help enforce the clan’s rules and policies. While not decision makers in the clan structure, the Clan Officers have a share in the clans operations and make direct recommendations to the CC. These members may also be given extra responsibilities to help lead and govern specific portions or divisions of the clan. Clan Officers are appointed by the CC, and have access to the Clan Officers/CO section of the forums where they may propose issues and ideas to the CC. These ranks are honorary positions of assigned ranks for the most dedicated and valued members of the clan.

Clan Advisors



Clan Advisors (CA)
The Clan Advisors are made up of past Clan Command members who serve as advisors to the CC and mentors to the entirety of the clan, without holding administrative duties. They retain access to the CC and CO, and provide valuable input and guidance for the clan.

Game Officers



CPT LT

The Game Officers are ranks reserved for those members who serve the clan in its mission of fielding a competitive team game. The Game Officers are the direct commanders of active clan games. These members lead their peers directly and by example. Active GC’s in the Game Officer ranks have access to the CO section, and are the first line of command within the clan.




Captain (CPT) – Game Captain (GC)
The position of Captain is the Game Captain or Game Commander (GC), and is completely responsible for, and in command of, their respective game and makes all decisions on game related issues. Captains are also part of the Clan Officer (CO) section of the forum, where they aid operation of the clan with respect to their game.



Lieutenant (LT) - Game Executive Officer (XO)
The position of Lieutenant is the GC’s second in command, or Executive Officer (XO). The XO aids in the management of their respective game, the games operations, and its members. This is an optional position, and not every game may have a Lieutenant.

Special Officers



MW W4 W3 W2 W1

The Warrant Officer rank is a Special Officer position assigned by a higher officer to perform temporary duties and assignments. This includes members assigned by a games GC to serve as in-game leaders in officer positions. This also includes members assigned to clan specific task or project by the CC.




Master Warrant Officer – Clan Special Officer
An assigned position by the CC to do a specific task for the clan. This may be a temporary position (e.g., someone assigned to design a new web page or run a contest) or permanent position (e.g., someone to moderate the Gallery or maintain an external web site).




Warrant Officer (W1-W4) – Game Special Officer
The various Warrant Officer grades are assigned position by an active games GC into leadership roles as an in-game officer (e.g., platoon leader or squad leader) and hold rank in their game. The GC will determine how many game officers are necessary and, use the grades of W1-W4 as necessary.

Enlisted Ranks

The Enlisted ranks for the active members of the Clan. These members are the heart of the clan, and the ones playing the games, posting on the message boards, and playing in the clan matches. These are the regular (non-probationary) full time members of the clan and illustrate a members exceptional service and dedication to the clan.

Senior Members



Sergeant Major (SGM)

The Rank of Sergeant Major is obtained by service to the clan by either taking leadership rolls within the clan, performing exemplary duties for the benefit of the clan, or by serving multiple years with honor. The Sergeant Major rank is an honorary rank to designate exceptional performance of the senior S7 members who have proven their worth time and again within the clan.

Veteran Members



Sergeant (SGT)

The Sergeants are members who have proved to be valuabe members to the clan by continued service (normally around 1 year of dutiful service), or contributing to the clan on multiple fronts (multiple game/extra duties/etc.).

Active Members


PVT CPL

The ranks of Corporal and Private are the normal active members in the clan. These are the members playing with each other in clan games and conversing on the message boards. Exceptional service can result in promotion to higher ranks in the clan order.



Corporal (CPL) – Active Member promoted for upholding the clans ideals and beliefs.


Private (PVT) – New Recruit who is a full member of the clan upon passing probation

Roles of Game Leadership


Captain - Game Captain (GC)
First in command over game, and has the final say over what happens in his/her game. Is responsible for moral and rule enforcement as well as roll calls and reports. Is the Leader of the Game’s Officer forum, and a member of the CO. Reports any concerns or recommendations to the CC. Can promote up to four degrees of game squad leaders (Warrant Officer), and can make member recommendations for clan promotions. Can present awards to deserving members. The GC is responsible for maintaining the game roster and roster system. Is the moderator of their games various message board sections, and is responsible for their organization and contents.

Lieutenant – Executive Officer (XO)
Helps lead individual game as second in command. Is responsible for moral and rule enforcement as well as enforcing the recruiting program. Is a member of the Game Officers form, and can gain access to the CO. Reports any concerns or recommendations to the GC. Can accept recruits and promote up through the Sergeant game ranks. Can present awards to deserving members. (XO has all responsibilities of the Game Captain in their absence)


Warrant Officers – Squad Leaders
In-game Squad leader who knows and develops game strategies and has the authority to schedule clan matches, practices and meetings. Is a member of the Game Officers form, and reports any concerns or recommendations to the GC. Has the responsibility of making sure a proper team/squad can be fielded before accepting or issuing a clan match. Is responsible for communications to opposing teams and understanding of the game rules and conditions. Is responsible for posting match results. Is responsible for polling players of a clan match for the match MVP, and recording the winner under the proper match record. Enforces training program and represents the clan in an honorable fashion. Heads practice/meetings in absence of a higher-ranking officer.


Sergeant
Seasoned Players, knowledgeable to the game and clan. Is a member of the combat roster, and available for clan matches. Takes part in practices and game events, and aids in the testing of new game strategies. Represents the clan in an honorable fashion and refers possible recruits to GC and higher ranked officers. Can lead practices and clan matches when assigned by a higher ranking officer.

Corporal
Normal Player, familiar with the game and clan. May be a member of the combat roster, and available for clan matches, and takes part in practices and game events. Represent the clan in an honorable fashion and refers possible recruits to GC and higher ranked officers.

Private
New Player to the game and/or clan. Is not a member of the combat roster. Takes part in practices and game events. ; is in a probationary training position.
