That's one of the perks of living in a major city lol, I've been waiting for a 4G Iphone, so it's about time. I'll keep my old one since I can just use it for apps till they can JB OS 4.0, and use the new one for everything else.

With that said does Boston have their network up yet. I think the area AT&T needs to work on first should be the NYC area after all the drop calls they get.

If you are already locked into a unlimited data plan then you are fine, with that said i believe all iphone users have to be anyways.
