Re: GTX 1080
I plan on putting one in a pc build I'm doing in a few months. I'll probably wait for 3rd party versions though.

Re: GTX 1080
I'm having an internal conflict on if I should wait for the 1080ti or go ahead an purchase a 3rd party EVGA card once it comes out. I know for sure I'm not paying the $100 premium for a founders card so either way ill be waiting a few weeks.

I'll be getting a 3rd party one, hopefully an EVGA hybrid or w/c version comes out soon

Re: GTX 1080
after watching countless youtube video reviews i think i will also be going for the 1070 most games it does better or a few FPS less then a titan x which is crazy for the price point
it will be a big upgrade from my EVGA GTX 960 4gb FTW

Re: GTX 1080
I ended up going for 2 MSI Armor 1080s. Doesn't seem to be much difference in the AIB 1080s so, just went with a non-OC model with a decent cooler. Hopefully they'll be here saturday...

Re: GTX 1080
That's pretty much the exact build I've been considering. I don't really have a need for 2x GPU though.
What monitor are you running with all that?

Very nice. I'm waiting it out on a new monitor for a bit. The Predator is bad@ss though.

Yeah, there should be some 4k 120hz out this year, though that's a job for 2 GPUs, lol.

I've been considering getting something similar to the Predator, keeping 2 of my 24" monitors, and then buying a new 40" (ish) tv to place above my PC setup and just have my xbox connected to that.
Admittedly, I have done pretty minimal research on how well a single 1080 could support the above.

I have a 680 running a 4 and 2 1080p monitors atm, I reckon a single would be fine.
