The Division Beta

For those that didn't get into the closed beta, there will be an open beta the following dates:

2/18-2/21: XB1
2/19-2/21: PS4 & PC

Players that play in the open beta will get all the same content as the closed beta, plus an additional story mission and something special they can unlock that will become available in the full game when it releases.

the100 just sent out an email that they're adding The Division to supported games, so people can start using it to find additional players in the open beta this week and when the game drops on March 8th. Just thought I'd pass this along, in case anyone missed it.

I believe so Charles. It opens today for X1 and tomorrow for PS4. Both run through Sunday if I remember correctly.

UC - Like Zak said, it's this Thurs-Sun for XB1 and Fri-Sun for PS4/PC. There's some more content that wasn't in the closed beta and a special reward for the full game that open beta players can unlock. Here's the article I posted above:

Sorry....I should read previous posts before I ask a question. I'll be on tonight at some point.....gig Saturday eve but maybe after. Sunday....yes

I'll be on the Beta for most of the weekend (evenings) too.

I'll possibly be on Saturday during the day as well as later at night.

Beta ends for all platforms Monday, Feb 22 1pm CET | 7am EST | 4am PST, unless the end date/time gets extended.

Time to create a thread in the Supported Games section for Division?

Quite a few people gave it a shot. If they like what they saw, this could be one heck of a large game.

Very true. Looking forward to playing some more of this when the game drops. Spring Break is the weeks the game drops so I took vacation after I get back from my work trip to Houston. Should have some good gear before the weekend. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much I'll get to play that weekend, because I think my mom and sis will be coming to visit.

I've seen on a couple sites that multiple higher ups at Ubisoft are confirming that The Division won't have microtransactions and won't be pay to win. Glad to hear that week 1 I won't have to play against all the noobs in the DZ that use real money to buy all the top gear.

Xbox baby!

I'm still on the fence if I'm going to get this or not. Its fun enough and may be worth a few weeks of play, but the beta let me down on the hype I had for it. Then again, I could get into the thick of it once I level up and collect loot and be hooked. With not much else on the horizon I can see myself picking this up (plus extra cash from a tax refund makes it easier to pull the trigger).

I'm going to wait and see.
