RAID COMPLETE!!!

Raid final boss should be pretty easy, provided you have 6 people lol

I need to do Nightfall and Weekly also coolhand. I'll be on later tonight so hit me up if you see me on. I'll probably just solo it if no one is on.

Still need to do the full raid so maybe tomorrow night (Friday) could be the best time to knock it out, assuming there are enough people on willing to run it.

Cool - even if I've completed them by then I'll be down to run em again.

I also need to do my Thorn exotic bounty.  Been ignoring that for a week and it is taking up a bounty slot.

I know a bunch of us find the Raid a lot more fun than other stuff, even if we don't get rewards. So be sure to spam out invites to everyone.

A lot of us use smartglass so send a text message on XBL and a few of us will see it on our phones.

I am a level 26 if that is a high enough level to raid I would love to give it a shot wither Friday or Saturday night.

Well, you're going to have a rough time but it should be possible. If you're paired up with a 29 then it shouldn't be horrible.

I'm supposed to play softball tonight but if we get rained out I will be on pretty early.

If i haven't ever done any of the raid, but i jump in and help a group on the final boss, will i get a reward for the completing the raid? Does every boss have their own reward table?

Not sure about the first question, but as far as the second goes... each boss drops loot, and there are multiple chests to open along the way, so you would miss out on all that and only get one reward if you jumped straight into the final boss fight.  A lot of the rewards end up being a few ascendant materials, so you wouldn't be gauranteed something l33t.

Yes, I beat only the final boss with a crappy random group and then helped out an S7 group for the entire thing. There are checkpoints you hit so no matter what, if you hit a new checkpoint you will get the drops. Plus there are a few chests along the way you will get too.

We got through the boss again tonight and I'm up for another run to get the parts of the raid (everything up to the gay lord guy) at some point before the reset.

I think I definitely need to be an Oracle guy on the last boss since that's all I've done so far and I was totally lost when I didn't get ported and didnt' know what to do, lol.  Also, my super seems to work really well against the ads in the portals.

Seems to me like sniper rifles are the thing to go with on the last boss.  He gets torn up with them.

Just got another group through (of course, 3rd week of no gear drops for me). On our final boss attempt, we killed him in just three teleports even with Knight Owl being 27.

Yeah, it was amazing how fast the boss kill went when we got our sh1t together, lol.

I won't talk smack about whoever has to do the relic shield in the future.  That job was harder than it looked - sorry for the wipes I caused as I hashed out my technique.

So what's better than having a white raid jump ship?  Having TWO white raid jump ships!! Yeah!!! Try not to be jealous.

It's all good man.  It's obvious that we could have also helped out more on that side of things.  Once we got our supers right it was cake.  Team effort all the way.

Yeah, the relic definitely takes a bit of finesse to do just right. Having your 2 other guys in the portal do the right things goes a long way toward making it easier.

Another raid completed!!! This time we got Aircav and Big Easy through, with OC getting up to the boss before he had to bail. We did great and the 27s got some good raid experience (but awful drops), so hopefully when you all hit 28 and 29, we can start running this thing nonstop 

Yeah it was fun. I'm down to hop in any time you need another person.

Sorry I was unable to rejoin. I tried to get back on destiny for about 30 minutes before giving up. Couldnt hear anyone in parties, never got past loading screen in destiny, couldnt join directly in. Rather annoying.

Server fix today Atrum!!! 


....though I have no confidence that they will fix anything

Just woke up and got raid done in less than an hour haha!
