PDP's LED-lit AfterGlow Controllers
April 14, 2010 - If you're tired of the bland black, white, or grey hue of your console's controller, and you're looking for something more performance oriented, PDP's new line of AfterGlow controllers could be the alternative you've been waiting for.
The console's clear exterior is made of a polycarbonate plastic which houses colored circuit boards and LEDs. This adds up to a controller that literally glows. PDP has also slightly altered button layouts for a more comfortable experience. For example, the 'AW.1' Wii-mote features + and - buttons that are above the the A button, instead of below, making them easier to reach. Similarly, the 1 and 2 buttons sit on slightly different levels, for a layout more like the classic NES controller. The AW.2 nunchuck, meanwhile, has a retractable cord and a more grip-friendly body design.
The PS3's AP.1 controller gets the biggest revamp, incorporating PDP's Real Triggers design into the L2 and R2 buttons, and even switching the d-pad and left analog stick locations for an Xbox 360-style layout. The 360's AX.1 controller is a licensed Microsoft product with an improved ergonomic design.
The Afterglow line will be available in stores by the end of April, with the Wii's AW.1 remote retailing for $29.99 and the AW.2 nunchuck costing $14.99. Meanwhile, the PS3's AP.1 will go for $24.99, while the 360's AX. will cost $29.99.

notice how the ps3 controller is slowing looking just like an xbox controller.

Haha, instead of the guide button there's just a big-ass dub on there.

I like the layout they have for the PS3 controller. I would have a hard time getting used to anything that is not wireless.

The cord hanging off the front is a deal-breaker for me. Not that I wanted that raver controller anyway - never did roll and wave glowsticks. No, ty.
