No XB1 baseball coming...

Well....not sure how many other baseball fans we have here, but looks like me and OC are out of luck.

Well, I'm already angry that MLB.TV has no XB1 app. I can still watch on iPad and PC but I loved watching on X360. Supposedly they are preparing an app for XB1 at the start of the season next year.

That sucks Klown but not totally surprised as last years game had issues coming out at first if you remember. Time for you to pick up a PS4 with mlb the show for the start of spring training.

Anything is better than nothing. Thanks for catching this OC. I had not seen this in my travels through the interwebz today. Was still in my depression after seeing the split was official a few days ago with MLB2K.

Just did a bit more research on this, since I'm actually postponing my Titanfall purchase to see what the RBI game is like first. Seems they announced this in January but when I did my digging found a Soriano baseball shoot for the game:

MLB The Show drops 5/6 for PS4.  Still gives you gents like 6 weeks to come to the Dark Side for some baseball.

Yeah it looks ok but I'm still not sure why the hell 2k didn't make a sim style game. Looks ok for fun but don't see myself buying it or playing it more than a hand full of times

Supposedly they showed a demo of the game last night on MTV2 (Off the Bat w/ Big Papi) but I didn't catch it at 11pm. Forgot, but I'm sure I can find footage on the net so I'll see.

It's only $20 so for a few quick, fun games it should be ok.

Do I spend $60 and get the show for my PS3 or do I just pay $20 and get a retro version on my XB1?

I loved the old version back then, but I'd like to play a sim. Right now I'm actually leaning more towards "old school" and save $40 for something else.

I heard some pretty bad things about that $20 retro game.  It's getting terrible reviews.  The Show on the other hand is shaping up nicely, for what it's worth.
