ESO Release Dates
I'll be curious to see the monthly fee but I'm pretty interested in the PS4 version:

Re: ESO Release Dates
I think there was another thread on this?
Either way can't wait for 4-4. Hopefully it's got solid endgame.

Re: ESO Release Dates
I don't really like it when MMOs go the F2P route because it usually takes even more time for more end-game content to be released, which prevents me from playing the game at all really. Starting MMOs don't have a whole lot of end game content. If anyone expects a sh1t ton of end-game content right away, then they'll be dissapointed. If they want more end-game content, then they better be prepared to give the game their support and stick with it for the long haul. Just the way I see it.

Well, if it's good, I intend to pay for a sub for a while.

meh, wasn't TOO into GW2. There was a lot of features that I liked about it, but they decided to release special content that was a one-time thing (not a holiday event) that took place during a single weeknd, annoying. And when I went on to participate, everything was about the content was broken. It just felt like it took forever for any new content to be released, content that would be permanent... I just wish more MMOs had jumping puzzles, very addicting. lol
I think I'm going to stick with FF14 for now. It feels like they're doing a good job keeping the players informed on what they'll be releasing in the coming patches, which they plan to release every 3 months. And they appear to be fairly content rich. The newest patch coming on the 17th features The Crystal Tower (dungeon from FF3), Free Company (Guild) Housing, PvP, even harder Primal (summon, eidolon, etc) battles, and more And rumored to be in a future patch is Gold Saucer, which I hope is true. Either way I like the direction FF14 is going and it's not taking the F2P route, or at least I don't see any signs of it happening yet. If ESO does a similar approach, then they'd have my support.

Re: ESO Release Dates
Jump puzzles were amazing in GW2. Definitely something every MMO should implement.

Re: ESO Release Dates
While I don't like that the console versions will be out 2 months after PC, it will give some time to see people's reactions/reviews, etc. As it is right now I plan on buying it and the sub is fine with me if I feel it's worth it.

Re: ESO Release Dates
I don't mind about having a $15 monthly subcription, but slapping a $60 price tag on the game annoys me a bit.

Re: ESO Release Dates
I agree Xpert. At $60 they should give you 4 months free before the sub kicks in, but I would guess we'll get lucky to get 1 month.

Re: ESO Release Dates
I enjoy the grind as long as there is some pvp danger involved. I always get bored with the end game no matter the additional content. It's only a matter of time.

Re: ESO Release Dates
that price is how it works on the pc for most MMO's
we could only wish they would use the model that D&D neverwinter used which was it free to DL and play but you were missing out on alot of stuff if you never sub 15 bucks a month to sub..
I think they did say something about 1 month free for ESO

I don't keep track of many MMOs then. FF14 was the last MMOs that I've bought and it was $30, $15 monthly subscription, and one month free when it re-released as A Realm Reborn. Seemed like a hell of a good deal. Now that I think about it, I think the Star Wars MMO had a $60 price tag orginally, but I had a friend who worked at Target buy it for me, so I able to take $20 off that price.
