D3 Idk about this wand

so  had this drop for me  i was in a public lobbys and there was modders in the lobbys (thats all you find when u play master 5)

so IDK if there is any mod's out there that can affect a drop but here is what i had drop for me and dont know  how to take it legit or some one learned to mess with drops




everything other then the 2 sockets looks legit and not even really that good stat  but with the base  damage and being able to add 2 gems its a BIG upgrade for me ... just want to get every d3 players  thoughts on this item before i use it or Drop it to let the game have it back

I know on the PC this item is said to be in game never seen it . and i do know they change alot of things between pc and console so idk

I trolled around quite a bit and this is the only 2 socketed version I came across. I saw a few with 1 so I suppose 2 is possible but you would be the first that I've seen.

ive always heard that this wand is out there but its very rare  (people call it super rare)

i just dont know how to take it as i have never seen one ever and there is not one on the pc version i looked on the auction house and RMAH    but my thought would be if i came across this i would be using it and not selling it so idk ..

Try contacting Blizzard support and see if they know anything about it.  They'll be able to tell you if it's legit or not.

I'd ask about it in the forums.  My first reaction to seeing it is that it's fake simply because you were running in a public lobby and those are known to be infested with fake crap.

You can dupe unidentified legendaries.  The roll on them, however, does not change.  That could be their way of tricking you into thinking it actually dropped when all it is is a duped "unidentified" leg.

but would there still be a star on the map i know when some one drops a leg the star is not on the map ...  its only when it spawn drops

I know that there were several popular drop mods for Diablo 2. I imagine the creators of those would make the same for D3 eventually.

i have submitted a ticket   and posted on there forums...


it does seems a mass amount agree with me    but then they also say if you see the star on the map (when people drop legendary even if they just picked it up when it drop for them then redrop it the star is not there)  then they dont know 

i guess i just got to wait till my ticket comes back


had to submit it  under a pc ticket as when you try to do one for console gaming

kind of the same general thought of people who play bliz game and not first time console gamers. i get the same feeling as the game was acting like it was going to freeze with that popping sounds but didnt

It should be legit why would someone mod that wand with such bad stats and only add in 1 extra socket ?  i dunno just my 2 cents

The only person who can answer this question is you. Being honest with yourself, if you saw this item drop from a monster, you went and picked it up and  identified it, then it is "legit" legit is in quotations, because in d2 there were was one glitched item (that i know of) on the closed NA server . It was a bugged tal rasha's chest piece, and was the most sought after item in the game. So congratulations, either you found an ultra-rare (kinda like deaths fathom in d2), or better yet, found  a glitch item. if it is a glitch, do not toss it on the ground, it's worth more than your entire account. Glitch does not equal mod.

Just be prepared to be labeled a modder/glitcher if you do keep it.  Even if it was that lucky 1 in a million glitch you'll have a hard time convincing people of that.  As far as I'm concerned, I feel the same way this guy does.  If you saw the star on the ground, picked it up and ID'd it and feel that the item is legit then by all means use it.  Just don't expect people to believe you, lol.

i really hardly ever play  with the public as it is   there all 400..........Dps noobs  
and when i go im normally in party chat (with no one in the chat )  just playing music ..


only time i really play with people is with the clan  and a few other friends .


but ya if i came into a game and did not know any better i would think something was fishy myself

i wont lie i like the damage it gives me even if idk if its real or no just makes me feel dirty (and before Easy says something )  Dirty like your MOM HIGH 000000ooooo i win XD

I'd say keep it and use it with the clan, cuz we know you're not a modder and it will help with other players farming.  If you play with the public you can equip a backup to avoid the whole issue.

to much drama on the battle.net forums  and  really only lose 100k  dps so meh

finally got  my ticket to come back from bliz....


long story short they said they cant confirm  it  for more help  i have to Email MS  as there is nothing they can do with the console version...


i mean ya i know  bliz cant do as much as they do on battle.net but i was just asking a very simple question.... either way its good as i dropped that wand and last night traded for an EPIC bonesaber
