I don't.  But I have seen zoomed-in images, and those in the know apparently can tell.

Even if the xbone wasn't coming out till next year I still wouldn't buy a ps4. I like how the article says the ps4 games were running on dev kits and the proof is because the sony guy said so

Believe it or not, I am not picking on the XTV here.  I was trying to make a point to Klown a while back that just because you saw the final design of the XTV case did not mean it was any more "real" than the PS4.  This just backs up my claim while poking a little fun along the way.  It's not like they were running final versions of the PS4 at E3 and anyone who thinks so is an idiot.

P.S. I do find it amusing they were running Windows 7 and not 8.

There's no way you could tell from a zoomed in image, unless they have other photos. That's just someone starting rumors. If it was me I'd definitely have MULTIPLE of the biggest baddest card I could run in there keeping it stable.

That being said, it's pretty common practice to run demos on a dev kit/dev setup. They skip around all the time and the games are made on PCs, so it only makes sense to run it on a PC to be able to customize the demo.

PS: I don't think anyone really thought that the Xbox One on display was running the games... it had no cables connected to it. So... that's more PSDragon realm. 

PPS: I don't think any game developers use Windows 8 at this point. I haven't read up much on what software suites are on Win8 but I doubt anyone making a AAA title would use a new OS.

Well, the XTV is supposed to be running a version of Win 8 so they better get to work making AAA titles for Win 8.

And this is a slightly bigger issue than a dev kit since they aren't even running comparable spec equipment but regardless it's not a surprise.  But it is funny.

P.S.  And Klown was convinced the XTV was "real" cause he saw it.  He was also convinced the PS4 was "not real" cause he could not see it.  So to say...

And it's still the same game. They don't create an 'enhanced' version of the game. I know what you mean as far as it not showing the stability of the new system.

It's all in good fun.  Don't get your butt hurt Xpert, I was just having a little fun.  As stated earlier, this is not a surprise to anyone who knows anything about game shows, especially pre-launch of a new system.  But I can still have a good laugh.

The developers didn't have time to port that game to Xbox One so they were running it on a PC I guess.  Every other game was running on Xbox One dev kit.

Thanks Xpert. Interesting, ended up being fairly standard pre-launch garbage.

The W7 is pretty much a no-brainer.

The XBox Dev kits all came with Windows 7 and the games have been developed in that environment. Move to Windows 8 and not only do you lose the upgrade time but you can really mess things up in regards to your local docs and settings. They already run right up to the wire, so it would actually be a silly idea to upgrade during a dev cycle.
