So correct me if I am wrong but once you put a disc in the drive it installs and you no longer need it right? So in theory then if you still will be able to it to game stop and sell it the same day no issue right? If that is true then that is win even if GameStop only gives you some of the original value

We don't actually know right now. We need more official info but common sense say no. The current theory is that when you install the game, it registers that game to your XTV. If you sell it and someone else loads it onto their XTV, it will disassociate it with your XTV and you will no longer be able to play it.

I would assume it's something similar to what PC games do. Static activation code (built in to each disc) registers against your XBL profile. So when the next person activates that game it deactivates the previous XBL profile it was linked to.

That what I tried to lay out in my lengthy post. They keep saying there will be a market for used game, so I don't see why it will not work that way. Which is the same way it is today. Once you no longer have the physical disc, you can no longer play the game (whether it's in the drive or not).

That makes the most sense to me as well. I do like NOT having to put in a disk. Fat kids getting fatter FTW!

My discs just tend to crack when I have to remove them from their cases constantly.
