Magic the Gathering 2012 tournament ideas

I was wondering what the interest is in playing a Magic tourny. I was thinking we could play as either individuals or teams of two, and we could either get everyone on on one evening or play of over a few days (ala Madden season style). I'm not sure how many total players we will have and if not everyone can make it on a single night then each matchup could be done whenever and update the bracket. Also, would we want to do best of 3 on each matchup maybe?

Sounds like fun. If single I would want to do it over multiple nights, if teams I would want to do it as a one night group thing (draw to match up teams).

I down for a Magic tourney, love the game just nobody is ever playing.

It's been like 3 years since I last played that. I might be interested but I'd probably have to update the hell out of the game since it's been so long.

If I didn't already have the game on Steam...
