HOLY CRAP OLA.

the thing is you know there probably really high up in altitude
so when the pilot pulled up to avoid that building he probably had no lift as the air is thin as hell up there

but happy no one died over that as the people on the ground were right there

That looked really really stupid. Probably the last time that pilot tries to show off.

Reminds me of when I was playing with Middy the other night on BF3 and he was "flying" the helicopter

dude had a bad aerodynamic "attitude" and poor power management at an altitude where the air is thin and the engines are operating close to limitations.

Do understand that that maneuver is not a showboatting one. Its legit and done by apache drivers for a purpose. But the community as a whole does question why he would do it there and then.

sorry bastard was trying to put on a show for the ground guys and ended up almost running over a few of em.

Out of curiosity what would that purpose be?

Yeah, when you read the comments for that video, Some Apache Pilots that commented say that he's pulling of or trying a actual maneuver. He did mention the thin air and such. Now did you all notice his spiral out of control after the belly flop. Hey Nate are you messing with the new Apache's at all. Well I guess the upgraded ones? I have a gun magazine that goes into great detail about it, I haven't read the article yet but it looks very intresting!

I'm flying block II's. Its what most active duty units have.

Block III's are still in the testing phase and will be fielded in november to a unit out of ft riley, i believe. But it will be awhile till those are fully fielded to active duty and then guard and reserve would pick up all the block II's.

Oh, ok! Hmmm I need a Helo License...looks like fun!
