Almost got to shoot someone

Me, the wife and baby were staying at my sisters house for the night while we move stuff in to the new apartment and for the 2nd time a random drunk guy stumbled on to her porch.
She ran upstairs and got me so I got to tell him to gtfo. The guy kept yelling about wanting to crash here, then said he'd bust my face up. When he wouldn't leave decided to show him my glock .45 at which point he decided it would be cool to punch a hole through the window in our door and then do some simply amazing 'dodge' maneuvers when I raised the gun and he ran for it.

Cops picked him up a few blocks away. Guy busted his hand up, broke his phone outside the house, and lost his hat. I've been telling my sister to get a new door forever so now it might happen for free. Interesting night. I was disappointed since when I first looked out the window and saw him my first thought was "Zombie, it's finally happening". Another day.

On a side note, since I'm moving in to the new apt I will be without internet for a few days. Looks like I'll have that forza, Skyrim, and Halo:Anniversary time I wanted.

Or if you liked reading the halo novels you could engulf yourself in Halo: Cryptum and Primordium. Both of these book focus on the history of the Forerunners and the plot that made the Halo rings. I'm currently reading Primordium which is the second book in the current Forerunner series.

My brother has them all, may have to read them sometime. Re-reading some a collection of faulkners shorts stories atm.

Right on Atrum, good on you for defending yourself without blowing someone's head open on your porch. People all to often seem to want to jump to violence to solve anything, and it's good to see you held your cool and didn't act like the typical

Got to say though, If I had gun laws like you all do down south, I wouldn't have a fairly nice car, I would have about 6 different guns.

Lol yeah had it been at my house we've got an AJ-47, at-14, and various hunting rifles, shotguns, and pistols. The glock was my brother in laws, he informed me the clips full of hallow points so that would have been messy.

Just remember to pull them into the house when you shoot to kill... easier to claim self defense. I'm pretty sure that's what one of my CJ teachers told me, and he was an armed federal agent.
