B2K DLC

So has anyone downloaded the dlc that came out in the wee hours of the night. Should be getting the dlc on my lunch break. Let us know how you like it so far once you've downloaded.

Yeah, glad it's out. Unfortunately probably have to work into the night tonight so I have no idea when I am going to get to play.

LOL! Can't help it. I have to work every day from now itll Christmas and I will be pretty much MIA on MP games from now till then also. Of course, I am not really complaining either. Gotta make money while you can, right?

Completely forgot about this, I'll have to start it up and see how long it takes. Hopefully it's worth the wait.

New maps are very cool....huge and different. Change on how Conquest works. You start out either defending or attacking....you have all the bases or none. Also once the game gets going....if the other team recaptures "all" the bases there is a spawn delay. It took me a little while to figure out what was going on but after that I think it works out to be pretty darn fun.

that is a new version of Conquest that was added with the map pack. The original version of Conquest should still be available.

BTW, it's called Assault Conquest.

One of the maps is a remake of the xbox live download the world war 2 battlefield that we played a while ago, forgot the name.

BF 1943

I thought all of the maps were remakes from previous versions of BF... kinda like a best-of-the-best from previous editions.

Oh, and I agree with Zak... buggies OWN!

Wake Island is the one from BF1943, and it is probably the best for vehicles thus far in the map pack. It's definitely fun to do some long strafing runs with the Viper or the new jets on the US side.

Sigh, still haven't been able to play the new pack yet. Been hard with my gf getting the same days as me and the recent release of TOR.

I haven't played it either. I did log on and DL it. I hit prestige on COD, so I've been trying to get all my stuff back, and still not loose my place in Skyrim. Man, I wish these games would have been spaced out better- LOL.

I agree... I think it is mostly that one map with the tall buildings though....I'm not going to give up on this game yet
