Styles of Gameplay


A. Run-and-Gun
This style of gameplay is my current favorite. Basically, it
involves you always being on the move, searching for opposing players
to kill. You are likely to get some good kills this way. The odds are
stacked in your favor. But, keep in mind that this will likely give you
the most deaths too. Something you should probably keep in mind if you
are worried about your Kill/Death ratio.
B. Sniper
Sniping is both challenging and very rewarding. In the beginning,
the only enemies you are likely to kill by sniping are other snipers
and campers. The reason is because moving targets are much harder to
kill. On top of that, your enemies usually don’t die with only one shot
unless it is a headshot or you are playing a Hardcore match. More on
that later.
C. Stealth and Melee
I consider this a kind of hybrid playing style. Some people are just
ridiculously good at knifing your entire team. This is one of those
instances where you wish there was a scrotum punch button. They are
fast, undetectable, silent, and if they don’t knife you they still have
silenced weapons and Semtex at their disposal. Beware the ninja.
D. Camping
These players can make life miserable for everyone, even if they
don’t kill you. How? Because of the constant whining and vulgar slurs
they produce in teenage boys. A camper will find a nice high traffic
area and wait. Then, as soon as a body enters their line of sight, they
blast them. Don’t confuse these guys with snipers. There is a
difference. Campers are there to farm kills as easily as possible.
E. Hybrid
These obviously won’t encompass every player and their favorite
style of playing. I’ve seen people play with a Blast Shield, the Danger
Close and Scavenger perks, Frags, Rocket Launchers, and a Riot Shield
for an entire match. I’m fairly confident he was a pyromaniac. The
important thing to remember is that you don’t HAVE to fall into one of
the aforementioned styles. Have fun and do what works for you. Unless
it is camping. In that case, just don’t play. Ever.

I would say I am more of an A and maybe a little E

I prefer to be B when I can. A is fun too but i'll normally end up camping if I find a spot that works well and see's enough action to keep me interested.

E is my type, mostly because none of others really can explain my playstyle and neither can I.

My best attributes would probably be A & C, I switch between the two in game I can be pretty versatile depending in the situation.

I use A mostly, but I sneak with silencers and ninjapro. I have been known to camp it up hardcore when the time is right though.
I use C at the first of Domination/objective games, or just to switch it up. Love knifing faces.

I would say that I mostly use A and C. I love knifing kids! and I enjoy flanking the enemy but I also like going toe to toe. Just depends on the situation.

A and C i love find holes in the there lines and just flanking and killing every one muhaah!

I use a little of everything. I do A for the most part, but when I move to where I find a good spot, I stop advancing and kinda camp a little. I do move from time to time, but I usually come back to the same spot. I do like sniping, and most of my kills are on moving targets, so I don't know what your problem is Glock. Hmm, that is all. lol

I would say sort of a hybrid of A and C . I like to flank and get behind the other team but I would say that I am not a big knifer and will shot my gun instead.

I'm pretty sure I'm part of the Spawn and Die style...or the Always Stabbed by Interseptor style...or even the increasingly popular Bullet Riddled by Sticky style.

Im definately a mixture of A and C. For those that know me im a huge knife freak just like Interseptor. Yet this all depends on the game mode and what type of situation im in.

Managed to get on today and into some Ground War games. Was playing what I like to call 'Smart Run & Gun', where basically, you run & gun as usual until you find an area with a constant stream of traffic. Then you camp the crap out of it until they enemy stops coming, then you move again. If you die whilst camping, on the re-spawn you attempt to flank.

Had my best ever session of MW2 playing this strat. Racked up some huge win streaks too. The SCAR-H pwns. I think this MW2 version is probably one of my favourite ever video game weapons. #1 being the M4 w/ Silencer from Counter-Strike, obviously.

I would most likely be an A , C or an E. What ever needs to be done in order to support a win for our team. Whether its laying still on a flag in domination, shooting down air support or knifing a enemy in the back. Just remember always use me as bait.
