From what I saw in that trailer, I REALLY hope BF3 brings back large scale war competitive gameplay as a recognized eSport. Dogfighting jets? That's going to take some real skill to play, and even more skill to fully utilize it in the scenario and be useful to your team.

I remember when I played BF1942 in BBF, I had to go to Paco's Flight School before they'd let me fly in matches. Flying was actually a bit more difficult than I thought.

I want to see 12v12 TWL and CAL ladders for this, I'd definitely play it on the PC a little just to have a shot at competing in clan matches on that scale.

OMG that looks amazing! As long as I can talk to more than 3 teammates I will definitely get this.

64 players would be crazy i would be down to get both if a good number of people are going to buy the pc version as well

but then again we wont have 64 players online in a room at once let alone 24 sooo idk ill play pc threw game fly

on a pc you just use vent or team speaks gets you around that limit if any...
plus u wont want to hear the other team so its not 64 players only 32 =)

yeah that would work we need to set up a vent from for s7?

I still remember having some crazy dog fights in the old games. Taking a jet under a bridge and having someone epicly fail trying to follow.

Now I'll rollover and have a cigarette.

I might just get the PC version. Save some money.

I'm for sure getting the console version of this first...wow. This is seriously going to be unbelievable.

Console only for me. I am a little concerned about the 24 player limit and slightly smaller maps. Not sure if you can get the same feel as we just saw in that video but in general 24 players is more than enough. 12 v 12 will make for some epic battles, plus I don't have to buy a new PC Not to mention all of my friends play on the xbox so that is where I'll be.

In fact the more I think about it, I don't want 64 players at all. If I am only playing with 3-9 of my friends (as most of us do) I would rather have less random noobs filling up the rest of the roster. I mean 9 friends with 4 noobs is better than 9 friends with 23 noobs. And if you only had like 4 guys... forget about it. You could be doing well but the rest of your team could screw you out of a win. Don't get me wrong 64 player matches would be EPIC assuming it didn't lag like crazy but in the end you would have very little effect on the out come of the match. You would basically be along for the ride. But a team of 4 out of 12 could easily turn the tide for your team if they work well together. 24 players seems like a great number for a big team game without getting too big.
