Man Movie Talk II - Ip Man

Last weekend I watched the latest Kung-Fu masterpiece- IP Man. It was a great man movie with asskickery abound. Not only did it have cool martial arts action, it was a good story set at the time of the Japanese invasion of China. The film making was solid, and Sammo jung did the choreography for the fights. Donnie Young did a great job as IP man, and unleashed some of the best beat downs I have seen in a long time. I’m not talking to one crazy punch or kick, but simply pummeling his opponent/enemy once they are down to make sure he doesn’t get up. Full on Hulk mode when he is angry. Plus it’s pretty much straight martial arts, with no fantastical jumps and wirework. Has anyone else seen it? This is a must watch for any Kung Fu fans.
