I think the Nationals won the "right" to host year after next. That said, I'll be in the stands if they do.

As for the All-Star festivities this week, anyone that knows anything about me knows my undying love for baseball-- so yeah, I'll be watching...Even if a hurricane hits, the power goes out, my flat screen falls and breaks and the dog is crushed by the neighbors house...all that can wait LOL

jk should be fun to watch - the allstar game is really the only game I care to watch - it's cool that it actually means something for the winners - when is it?

Oh, btw 'roids don't do a lot for hand-eye coordination. You can have strength, but if you can't catch up...

That is so true I don't defend any of the players that got caught but at the same time it still takes skill to achieve what they did. Baseball is not a game of strength that is for football hence wht they have 300 pounders on the teams the closes guy we got to that is Prince Fielder and he's terrible at defense, he'll be in the american league playing DH very soon lol.

Not saying they increase your dexterity or skill, but increased power helps when you do connect right?

same with Bonds but I think he lost a step on defense as he got enormous.

Pre-steroids Bonds was one of my favorite players to watch, some home run power but mostly known for his great defense, base stealing, and extra-base hits. I'll take that over 70 home runs any day.

It was a good game, but because EVERYONE is so good it became a bit slow and dull for awhile. Then Brian McCann blasted a 2 RBI double taking the lead and deflated the hopes of my American League guys . It's cool...just gives the AL a reason to play harder in the world series (no home field advantage now) and next year at the all-star game.

yeah home field is an advantage but not a huge one because the other team gets 3 straight games at home during the series games 3, 4 and 5

Well...we could have played your Phillies in a vacant lot , under a bridge, then behind a boarded up Kmart, and the results would have been the same... BURNED!
