just finished up my 10 qualifying game need to be ranked and just want to see what ever one gets i hit
onyx which is the rank right below semi pro =)

not to bad for playing solo with some bad randoms at time cant wait to see how much it will help having some s7 bros on!

Awesome, I'm glad they have a new system. I've always enjoyed the league based systems.
I'll try to get 10 matches in tonight to get a rank. If stickanoob up there is Onyx the system will probably just implode and cease to exist when I play Twisted Evil

Lol. I'm sure once the masses come in there will be an epic battle to be had for the higher divisions. I wish they had this when Halo 3 was out. No way I have time to try for the top leagues these days.

Got one match in. The default controls kind of screwed me over since I've been used to MC Collection. Gameplay was pretty neat. Definitely feels different from Halo 4. Also had to listen to someone on my team say "James can you hear me?" for the whole match. If James didn't reply to you for the first twenty times you said it then maybe there's a problem!!!

Maybe his friend James passed out at the start of the match and he was trying desperately to revive him and forgot to mute his mic that had been cast aside.

I'm really enjoying it. Controls are a bit wonky when adjusting from other games. Matchmaking has some issues if you go in with a party (at times). Other than that I've really been enjoying it so far.

I definitely think the earlier you get ranked the better your odds are for a higher division. One of my friends rolls over most people (2.5 K/D overall, 70-80% winrate) and he got placed into Silver II.

I played my 10th game and got into Gold. I noticed I only played an Onyx person once when I was gaming with Steel (also Onyx). I think a lot of it has to do with what divisions you manage to play against.

I can't wait for the full game, but it'll be fun to play the beta more and hopefully see some more maps.

This week in the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta, battle it out in Breakout, a brand-new game type! Breakout is round-based, and your Spartan only has one life each round. The first team to take five rounds wins the match. You’ll be able to play on two maps: Crossfire, and its variant, Trench.
There will also be two new maps swapped into the Slayer playlist: Regret and Eden. Regret is a remix of Truth, and Eden is a remix of Empire, both of which were included in week 1. Additionally, you voted, and we answered: You’ll be able to wield the Hydra MLRS, a brand-new weapon to the Halo universe, while slaying on Regret.

I'm on the slow climb through gold. I wish it would give more points for 20-2 games. Definitely a lot of weight on winning.
I mainly just wait for at least 1-2 people to be on to play with. Otherwise it's a bit of a coin flip on teammate quality.

agreed i have tried to have at least 1 person i know in my game as you lose a sh1t load of points for a lose
