Mechwarrior Online

Anyone else plan on checking it out? Downloading the closed beta client as I type this.

Would love to but my laptop blows. Mechwarrior was my favorite mech game; great damage and customization. Haven't checked it out but the idea sounds great.

It will depend upon the specs required to play it. Like I said last night, Zals, I played the sh*t out of Mechwarrior 2 and I played a lot of Battle Tech so I'd be all over it if my laptop will play it.

Ok I played about a dozen or so games and I am starting to enjoy it.

From what I have read on the forums so far, the game will be free to play but will also include a premium membership that does provide some goodies but not must have extras which is good imo.

Game is in open beta now and I have been playing it pretty hard in between bouts of Halo 4. Once it goes live I recommend peeps give it a try. Though there is a decent learning curve I have had a blast playing it so far.
