300+!

Is there going to be any benefit to doing the hard mode raid beyond 'just having done it'?

I mean, unless light level is upped beyond 310 it's the same basic thing.

There has always been gear locked behind the Hard mode of the Raid. I suspect the same here. Hell, there are still exotics people have no idea how to get like No Time to Explain (although I don't think this will be found in the Raid, you get the point). Time will tell I suppose but there has always been a good reason to run HM.

Some datamining has shown that there's a possibility that once the hard mode raid hits the cap will be raised to 330 light level.  Some people have found that the Destiny database lists a bunch of stuff at 330.  Could be a misprint, could be real, nobody knows at this point.

If nothing else, HM eventually becomes the "normal" mode. That just seemed to be the case with VoG and CE.

Yeah, back when VoG was new there were certain pieces you could only get in hard mode (like the helmet).

I was more curious on if they had released specifics for the hard mode rewards for Kings Fall

Got thru the raid for the first time (3rd overall attempt) and just hit 300.  Picked up raid hand cannon (LL 303), raid shotty (LL 304), raid LMG (LL 302), raid arms (LL 302) and a LL 308 ghost.   All in all a good run and I just started to catch up with the HM dropping next Friday, at which point I'll be behind again.  I really need to get my helm, boots, and Titan mark to 300 (they're between 294-296) and I would probably be at like 302-304 range.

By Titan mark do you mean artifact?  If so you should have gotten the 310 one from finishing the quest for beating the raid.

Also, congrats on finishing the raid!

Titan mark is the Titan class specific armor, like the warlock band and the hunter cape. I do have a LL 300 artifact, but I'm guessing the 310 one you get this for completing the raid after the strikes and NF. If that's the quest you're talking about, I still haven't run NF since TTK dropped. I don't know if I need to beat NF and then the raid, in which case it might be a while before I get that.

Don't remember the specifics but it doesn't have anything to do with Nightfalls.  Maybe the "Taken War" quest series?  Been a while so don't remember.  I had just assumed you had done the pre-requisite stuff to get "The Road to Kings Fall" quest.

Yeah, 310 artifact is for completing the entire Taken War campaign, and THEN the raid.

I'm still on Step 3 (kill champions) for that quest. Meh, I'll get to it eventually.

Found some more 310 exotics running strikes last night, and infused some into my legendaries to move from 302 to 304. Could be 305 but I didn't want to infuse my 310 helm. Maybe I'll find another tonight as I stil have about 20 three of coins.

Started working on the 310 artifact (yeah I know I'm behind) and cleared the Taken War: Venus and got to killing the champions from Taken War: Earth.  Ended up killing the one in the Divide before running out of time.  Managed to unlock the Blighted Worlds quest from Eris.  After Earth I have to unlock the Taken War: Mars and then I should be on my way to getting the artifact. The artifact should only give me about .8 light, but that should push me to 302.

Up to 302 on my Titan and I completed all the quest line for the 310 artifact except beating the raid.

Raid proved to be rather helpful, despite the fact that I only really got gear in like the last two drops. Ended up getting my Titan to 305 and my alt Hunter to 300. I need a little bit more to be able to use my Supercell at 300, but in my current config I have a scout and I use my 310 Truth for an exotic.

Titan is now up to 309 and Hunter is at 306.

After 2 runs on the WP challenge my Titan is now 312 with a nice 320 1000yd and 320 raid LMG.
