PS4 Raid Run (Hard)

So, who is down to give this a shot?  I know we will probably get our butts handed to us but I'd like to give it a shot and see how it goes.  If nothing else I figure we can open the door lol.  I'd like to see how more difficult it really is and how the mechanics might change in our strat.  Plus I want a shot at more loot for the week.  I feel pretty good about our strat and like to test it out on the next level.

I'll be around in the evenings for the rest of the week.  Post up here or hit me up online and let me know what might work for you.

Nice.  I know Kenny will be available most nights too.  I think Puppet will have the most restrictive schedule so we'll see where he lands on this.

EDIT:  I'll check with Pacifist too and see where he lands on this too.

Last update I got puts at least 5 of us ready for tonight.  I think we should give a run and see what happens.  Be there.  I'll be around from about 7pm onwards, as usual.

Tonight is out, gotta be up for work by 5:30am.  I might be available Friday night for a bit, but I've got a charity walk early Saturday morning so it won't be a late night.  Saturday night would be my best chance for some concentrated effort on this, but like I said I'd be up for a try on Friday night.

No worries.  We were a few short so we just messed around with the Dailies/Weeklies (I actually played Last of Us lol)  We'll try to get together sometime in the next day or two.

We seemed to do pretty good and have a decent strat, just need to shore it up a bit.  Got to defending the left and right confluxes, but couldn't get past that.  Like Zak said, might need to wait a week for Apex and I to hit 29.  I need like 8 points of light and with only 4 shards that's gonna require some legwork.

I was hoping to jump on last night and see if we could make a run at this and I just passed out around 8:30 EST.  Didn't see many bros on so I don't know if everyone jumped on later or what.  

Possibly try and take a run at this Monday night or maybe Thursday night.  My normal Wednesday night won't work, I've got an all-day meeting at our district office on Thursday so I can't be napping in front of the DM.  Also, my parents are coming into town Thursday night for the weekend so my play time Thursday night is questionable and for the weekend I'll probably be unavailable.

Update: I am now 100% on my guns and gear for this.  Everything I have is fully upgraded and ready to roll.  Just working on some Alt guns to give me a little variety but overall I am ready to attempt this.

I'd like to see us at 29 with full upgrades all around.  Where are you guys at?

Primaries are all about halfway, void sniper is ready and other 2 snipers are halfway, heavies are about 1/4 ready (void MG is like 3/4 and launcher is like 1/5).  If I don't use my raid gloves I'm 3 light shy of 29, if I use my raid gloves I'm 12 shy of 29.  I probably won't be 29 until sometime next week or weekend, unless I get UBER luck if I get to play tonight or this weekend.

No worries Puppet.  like I said in the other post.  Not in any real hurry here and I would like for us to be fully ready.  We might try it out a few times like we did the other day but overall I want us to be geared up properly before we tackle this.

OK, so this week I'd like to take my Warlock on a Hard run first for the chance at double Hard loot drops.  Anyone interested in giving this a go with me?  After running it this weekend I will say that you will need to be 29+ with fully upgraded weapons and a nice portion of patience.  It is not an easy affair and will take a while to complete.  Especially with the new random teleporting.  Sound like fun?  Does to me!

P.S. I don't really expect to get all the way through it but I's like to at least get to Atheon.

I'm in for the hard raid. I am busy this week with tests so it might need to be done in spurts if I am included for the entire event.

No worries Panzer.  This weekend might be best in general but I'll hit you up if/when we give it a go.  I think I'll knock out Normal first cause we can do it with very little time requirements.

I'm interested, but it might be a week or more before I'm ready, unless I get some time to play and some good drops this week.

No worries.  You'll be there soon enough.  A few more runs and you'll be set.  Also, gonna try and hit up Nightfall first thing tonight if you're around.  Get that XP boost for the week and you might be ready by the weekend.

LOL!  Just gotta carve some time out of that schedule of yours.  Hang with me for a few days and you'll be Raid ready in no time.  My Alt is already 29 and will probably hit 30 before my Main at this point.  Once you know the ins and outs of leveling it doesn't take too long.

Got a late start last night but made some good progress.  Kenny, Panzer, Apex and I decided to hit up Hard mode in the hopes of double drops.  We were joined by dethrowJethREAUX (a new guy we have been playing with that may join up here) and a random.  I was surprised at how well it all went.  Got through the Confluxes and Oracles without much trouble.  Time ran out as we started Templar but we now have a nice Templar checkpoint to push off with next time. Overall it was smooth and we progressed nicely. 

Getting past Confluxes and Oracles is always nice.  Templer is pretty easy but I am not looking forward to Gatekeepers again and new Atheon should be interesting but I have some ideas on a strat that may work.

To sum it up.  Good job last night guys.

Looks like we are on to continue our journey tonight.  Apex, Panzer, Kenny and myself are confirmed.  Should probably pick up Jethreaux too if he's on.  I'll post up our progress, if we make any.  Templar fight is up first.

Little by little.  We got Templar down,through the slightly harder Labyrinth and up to gatekeepers last night.  Frank from HR joined us this time and did well but unfortunately, he was only lvl 28.  That is doable but the team definitely takes a hit in the DPS department.  Getting the DPS on Templar before he enraged took a perfect run with no downs.  Gatekeepers/Atheon will be no different.  Being 29/30 here really is almost a requirement.

Still, I had a blast last night.  Thanks to everyone showing up and putting in their all.  We made good progress and should be able to take it out this weekend hopefully.

Things of note:

- Panzer hit 30 right at the end of the night!  Congratz!  This will also be a big help to the team.

- Frank and I both got Fatebringer from the Templar drop!!!!  For those not in the know, Fatebringer is probably the best handcannon in the game.  Raid variant with Arc damage, 12 round clip, faster reload and oracle disrupter.  Only drops in Hard. 

Now if I can just get the Helmet to drop, I can hit 30 and my life will be complete.

I'm glad that you guys were able to put in some serious work on this testing the strats and that two of you got the MAN cannon (especially since Zak has been pretty much talking about it nonstop), little jealous that I didn't get one yet.
