E3 2014 (06/09/14 - 06/12/14)

E3 is just around the corner!  I can't believe it's already been a year.  I'm looking forward to what all the competitors are offering this time around.  Exclusive games (Halo 5 gameplay specifically)  for Microsoft's Xbox One, backwards compatibility (hopefully) and PS Now for Sony's Playstation 4, and Super Smash Bros for Nintendo's Wii U.  What are you looking forward to see at E3 this week?

I am gonna miss Sony's conference... sad day.  I have ball games tonight.  But I should catch most of the rest of them.  Gaming news is about to explode with all kinds of goodies.  I can't wait.

I have a feeling MS is going to try and pull out all the stops this time around.  Should be interesting.

I hope so.  But with the flood of good news over the last two week (no-Kinect model/price drop, Games with Gold for X1, etc...), is there anything left to impress?  Same goes for a lot of stuff.  Games announced, games leaked (Battlefield Hardline for example), E3 trailers already released like the Witcher 3...  What is left that we don't already know?

Also, what am I looking forward to?  Project Beast (another leaked game but not confirmed) from the guys that do the Demon's/dark Souls games.  Rumor has it that it's going to be the successor to Demon's Souls and a PS exclusive.  I also want to see more on the Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk as well as The Division and Destiny.

Other than that I want new IP's/games announcements.

I could only take some glances, but from the looks of it.  It looks like a Call of Duty I'd actually be interested in.  I like how it's more futuristic.

Ooh, Nurburgring free available today on Forza 5.  It's about time, lol.

Halo: Master Chief collection confirmed.

omg Halo 2 multiplayer coming to Xbox One.  Excited!

At work still trying to follow along on twitter. Halo 2 mp was my first xbox mp expirience  and my first game with a clan/some of you. Good stuff and the you get halo5 beta access.

As somebody that was never really into Halo and only played Halo 1 this might be a good chance to get into it with all the games at once.

Forza horizon 2 gets 24 hour light cycle and weather. To bad they couldn't just add that to forza 5. Forza 5 does get Nuremberg ring.

I initially wasn't going to get the Halo Collection, but after hearing about it at the press conference I changed my mind.  I thought they were just going to be campaign releases, but including the multiplayer for each Halo game exceeded my expectations.  Hopefully I'll still be able to glitch out of maps and do Ghost Launches in Halo 2.  That was so much fun.  Also 60fps and 1080p on Microsoft servers is also a great bonus.

I will definitely pick upt the Halo games bundle.  Great story, great coop, and 2 was incredible for multiplayer.

Oh man... the hours of ghost launching we spent... I would love to do that again. Hopefully they don't patch it all out.

Tom Clancy the division looked awesome!

I'd be surprised if the passenger seat sword cancel launch wasn't patched along with the fall under the map spots (Ivory Tower).

The Division looked good (but I hate the super-scripted live event), the Witcher looked great, excited for new Tomb Raider and co-op Assassins Creed sounds cool too.  Oh and Evolve continues to look awesome too.

Honorable mention: COD actually looked interesting for the first time in a long time but I think that ship may have sailed for me.

I can't wait for crackdown! One of my favorite games on 360.
